LCFC 1-1 Portsmouth - Post Match Thread
Claudio Fannieri replied to StanSP's topic in Leicester City Forum
2nd half was the absolute pits of a performance, no energy, no ambition, no desire and zero intent. We got what we deserved. as for the conversation regards lack of a striker, too be honest we create very little for our striker, the final ball is awful on most occasions, we decry the lack of a striker but I can’t remember the last gilt edged chance a striker missed. Patterns of play first half were good, 2nd half barely existent, as for the subs everyone was negative. Would rather see the likes of Nelson, Evans, Hutchinson and Aluko involved. -
Marti Cifuentes appointed new manager

Massive worry that we create so little for the strikers, we are reliant on moments of individual brilliance, really think it’s time to bring in Nelson and Aluko. Think another couple of frustrating results and performances and I think he will be under pressure. Too repeat the same performance as Wrexham it the next home game would suggest the drop off in the 2nd half is more of a tactical decision rather than the players being complacent. My 15 year old lad said two minutes into 2nd half we have dropped off big time and it’s going to be another Wrexham, sadly he was proved correct. -
Decent first 45 minutes, need a second goal early to kill the game off, patterns of play are really coming to the fore now. Need a fast start to the 2nd half
