I think he will learn more sat in the stands/home in England than he will of done on a warm bench in the Ivory Coast. This will do the lad some good, and turn out to be a blessing in the long run.

I'm not saying it will be exactly like that, but players won't all necessarily be thinking of us like a Burnley/Luton/Sheff utd/Norwich promoted team who are in a relegation scrap all season. It's about mindset, Bournemouth when they came up before weren't in a relegation dog fight, Fulham weren't last season, Brighton quickly switched from being relegation battlers to upward aspiring under Potter, and Brentford have never really been in a relegation dog fight since being promoted.

I don't think we need to take up a squad place anyway on Ward he is 4th choice.

I liked the fact it took him so long, we have conceded late goals recently so he didn't want it to happen again. As soon as any danger was gone and Mads was about to kick it, he waved straight away.

We have had 15 different people score so far this season and its halfway through the season, I'm sure previously we could probably go half a season and not have 15 people start a game never mind score.

He has massively been helped by being a main man now, and dropping a level. I now think he is a mid table premiership player which he wasn't when we were around those levels.

We'd have a chance with both, I'm not sold on Solanke. Toney has proven it over a longer period of time, if feels like that's what Cannon was signed for but obviously very raw still.

Akgun/Casedei will both need game time during Afcon, Coady should have the odd few games here and there

Leeds have definitely found top gear in a couple matches, whereas I don't think we have, there 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears are way below ours. Hopefully we can find that top gear like Leeds did In the Ipswich home fixture.

Having reflected there are 3 mistakes in the goal, Casadei press at the throw in, Ricardo's press to block the shot and Vestergaard turning side on to the ball almost scared rather than facing the ball. We lacked the final decision making in the final third, but watching Newcastle forest has made me feel better, Newcastle have a golden opportunity to go 2-0 up final pass is blocked and forest go to the other end and score to make it 1-1 right beforeHT. Newcastle will finish in the top 8 in the premiership and they make mistakes, as a new team finding its feet with a new manager there are areas to work on, but we did more right than wrong last night.

I think we need another CB and a LB, so if the option is there bring them in. We need another midfielder and a striker aswell. If we could get rid of Nacho and Praet that would free up wages.

I think we will buy defensive additions, it's no coincidence that was the same last season, and probably the lower level isn't exposing it as much this season, but we have conceded late in 3 out of last 4 games, just gotta get through these next 2 games and the scheduled comes a bit better.
