  1. A little less over playing in our defensive third make them break us down and hit them on the break from here.
  2. That's the system idea as Strider broke it down in pre season, Enzo can only guide them he can't go out and make the decisions for them.
  3. Here we go you miserable bastards cheer the **** up its Christmas, an Enzo has got KDH doing that from the first pre season against Northampton to today.
  4. I don't really understand why Albrighton isn't on the bench? We lack intelligence in attacking areas even if he hasn't got the legs I'd back him to make better decisions than most of the current wingers. Is he injured? You'd want someone coming on say 1-0 up against a bottom of the league team for example to see the game out.
  5. There's 2 ways you could look at that, while not ideal. A criticism quite often thrown at the team last season was that they didn't care, you don't argue if you are indifferent to the situation.
  6. Add to that KDH being into the positions Maddison was in last season. I'd like to get into the premiership to see whether Enzo has improved the defence. Its clear the attack is worse as those 2 players are inferior to the two previous players playing in those positions.
  7. When you look at the chances Mavididi has had the XG is low because the decision making Is so poor and slow, with 1 change of player and exactly the same patterns of play that could easily be 1.5 or 1.6 just from what I have seen, better decision making from KDH could even push that half over 2+ just from those 45 minutes, I could easily compile 5 or 6 moments in that 45 minutes where poor decision making has let us down. It's a coaches job to make players better, but players also have a ceiling, ultimately we'd like to not only get back in the prem but in the top 10, neither of these two players is of that standard. An probably only 2 in our starting lineup have that ability.
  8. He needs a fresh start and we need to salvage some money, sell him to Forest for £5 million before Afcon he wouldn't need to move and surely they'd pay that.
  9. We really only have 2 players in that team that have been part of a successful premiership team Ricardo and Ndidi. KDH, Faes, Vestegaard to a degree Justin, Nacho all came in when the team was already on the downward slippery slope. I do however think all of them are good enough to be in a bottom half premiership team.
  10. I'm all for playing out from the back but some of the decision making is bizarre. When Mads gives the ball away that leads to the corner and them hitting the post Justin was in acres of space on the left there. He would have then had us driving towards the halfway line rather than defending a corner.
  11. I'd say it's around 5 weeks before Afcon, looking at the fixtures the gaps are reasonable between each game until 23rd December-1st January. I wouldn't be suprised if we don't see him until either the Birmingham or Rotherham game. That still leaves 4/5 games before the two go to Afcon. We need to be rotating Vardy and Cannon from 23rd Dec onwards tho. Rotherham, Cardiff and Huddersfield are good fixtures to be introduced into, you'd think Vardy/Nacho would play the majority of the Ipswich match on Boxing day.
  12. You won't have to wait til 5pm there's some more positivity for you.
  13. Style of football who do our fans think they are? West Ham, Spurs? One of the reasons, I like Leicester is usually the team picks the most affective way to win a match and overachieve compared to the sum of their parts. The trouble with this season is some will think even if we win the league by 10 points that isn’t overachieving. A blip was always going to come, I actually think we will find some games in the premiership easier next season, even without a single addition to the squad. This team would be 14th or 15th in the premiership right now. An for those that say Burnley, Luton and Sheff utd won't be in the league next season, I say If they aren't Wolves, Everton (maybe) Palace, Brentford, Bournemouth, Fulham and Forest will be.
  14. Makes sense for Man City, you get him used to England for 4 months, put him in pre season in the summer at man city. If he's good enough for premiership but not city, we may be there by that time and you extend the loan by a year.
  15. Call me crazy but I look at Chris Wood sat on Forest's bench today and think hmmm, I know he was ropey for us before but he's improved since then.
  16. It's the movement of the strikers and the wingers that's the problem, that and KDH lack of consistency to find that pass if its available. He did it for Mcateers Southampton goal. Ricardo has shown he will find that pass if its there more often than not.
  17. I've heard we have to take our chances mentioned in the post match but from watching the extended highlights, it's just the final decision from me there's no glaring misses other than the KDH shot which I think he should be striking with the laces anyway not the instep. The Mavididi interception possibly he can strike that first time with where the goalkeeper is. The KDH blocked shot where Gerry Taggart says its the right decision, I look at the picture and see Iheanacho in a better position behind him. If a team that were in league 1 last season with a striker that we sold to them scoring, can score more than us. Iheanachos movement for the Ricardo shot could be better. I really wanna see Cannon for 2 main reasons the striking options don't excite me currently and he is a new signing with a point to prove.
  18. I think the other chance that's saved by the keeper is an easier one than the chip that hits the post.
  19. If Cannon is fit to be on the bench today then I want to see him start against Watford, if he isn't fit for a full 90 play Cannon for 45/60 and Vardy for the rest. We have to start planning for Afcon, we also have Sheffield Wednesday 4 days later. Let's use all 4 strikers in those 2 games.
  20. But if Maresca has been found out, as the above post to this said, he obviously seen something to put Ndidi in a more advanced position in the first place.
  21. Even if he is we still need to sign another striker in January and it's got to be worth trying to sell Nacho, with Nacho and Vardy out of contract in the summer, some forward planning is needed, probably worth giving Daka a go as he has the longest contract and his resale value currently isn't high, that and the other strikers haven't exactly been amazing.
  22. The games in December and January will decide it. Sure the Leeds game was massive but there's always more hunger the ones chasing than the ones ahead. Anyone expecting us to just win 40/46 games without any hiccups, it just doesn't happen, but the opposite reaction is Leeds are gonna catch us when they are still 8 points behind and will have other blips themselves.
  23. We were always going to have a blip, the gap is still 8 points probably good timing to have a blip before the January window, before the heavy workload of December and January fixtures. I just hope we sign at least two players in January we have had drop offs at the turn of the year in at least 2 of the last 4 seasons, we need a CM and a striker or to utilise the 4 we have (2 come January more affectively) I don't think any of the 4 are of PL quality currently.
  24. Had a feeling this would be 0-0 earlier, I know we score some late goals but from what I'm hearing it doesn't sound optimistic and didn't against QPR before a Winks wonder strike.
  25. Enzos talent there shouldn't be no concerns on making top 10, the leap from where we are to top 10 isn't as big as some think. The leap from 10th-6th consistently is as big in my opinion as where we are to top 10 again.
