  1. We want to be in the top 10 of the Premiership. Brighton took 5 seasons to do that from the championship. Brentford took 2 seasons, Fulham did it in their first season back. I believe its the individual team that can control their own destiny, when we last got promoted our 2nd season we finished in the top half and two seasons after that we managed 5 seasons on the bounce in the top half. Those that keep saying we will struggle in the premiership forgot our squad in 2014 wasn't as strong as the current squad, the defenders were better but that's probably it. Clubs like Brentford and Brighton have performed well because the objective isn’t just to survive, that won't be our objective. When you stand still you go backwards as we have learnt, Wolves will learn, Palace will do aswell some day and Everton will eventually get relegated without a complete change of culture. We will finish higher than Everton next season without making a signing.
  2. I only watched from 60 minutes, I thought it was OK but we were just 5%-10% off it which you can probably get away with against maybe 18 teams in this league. We need 4 players, 2xcb, a CM and a striker, I hope this may help top and the board realise that, the goal is a poor one to concede, an while I love KDH and Choudarys fire neither can pick a pass In a tight area, Winks is a great addition. Nacho was just a bit slow and clumsy like he can be, he isn't a top10 premiership striker, as much as I love him, I still think we will be more consistent than Leeds over this season.
  3. He has worked wonders, but that spine is only 2 new additions of 5 positions. I do still think we need 4/5 starting 11 players if we were to get back to the prem, and the 2 Enzo has signed are the only ones I'm confident of making the step up next season of that spine. Vardys age, Nachos inconsistencies, the centre back pairing and KDH haven't proved any consistency in the premiership for more than 3 or 4 game spells here and there.
  4. Wilfs technical ability is improving perhaps the long game plan is to play him further forward develop his technique and confidence, so that if we made the prem, he could act as a stand in if Winks wasn't available.
  5. I think we should give Winks a rest he's on 4 yellow cards
  6. Looking at stats of 80% against 10 men with what we have I'd just go 3-3-4 take Fatawu off for Nacho 2 central strikers, Mavididi and Perreira on the wings
  7. The thinking is we have got 36/39 points, another 93 points to play for in the 31 other games other than the two Leeds fixtures. We will go to get 3 points aswell against Leeds but this is a marathon not a sprint, wouldn't be shocked if like when we lost to Arsenal in 2016, if we did lose to Leeds we go on another good run, and they drop points ad hoc where they shouldn't.
  8. 3 goals is a losing bet, it basically means there has to be 4+ goals in the game
  9. It's an exercise in discipline for the two of them. Enzo has said QPR is 3 points and Leeds are 3 points. He learns if KDH and Winks can be disciplined enough to not get a yellow, he learns if they do get a yellow who else could step up for the rest of the season. He approaches every game the same in mental approach , let's worry about today not tomorrow.
  10. I'm not sure it needs a lucky goal just good finishing, Sunderland probably created 4 chances, I wouldn't be suprised if QPR create two chances. Swansea probably had 3 chances.
  11. Sell or get Ndidi/Nacho to sign new contracts, some are loans, of the 6 that are our players sell what you can, we can probably get rid of Vestegaard in January, sure he's playing well enough now but isn't the answer in the premiership. If he wants to sign a new contract on half the terms why not.
  12. 2 chances in 2 minutes, he's struck the ball like somebody hoping to score rather than believing he will, both very good chances, keeper was good, but both shots have gave the keeper a chance much like Nachos effort.
  13. Cut his eye. HAMZA was a good alternative at that stage anyway
  14. MOTM they gave it to Patterson who really was quite obviously the best player on the pitch tonight. KDH for me was our most consistent over the 90 minutes, wasn't particularly impressed by Casadei. This is the player that's supposed to be a level above didn't really stand out for me.
  15. We need at least 4 players for the team, 2xCbs, a CM a striker. I agree Sunderland were poor in front of goal. If we could get at least 2 of those 4 players in January it would be a good start. The striker with 2 of our 4 away at Afcon maybe worth going for, and a CM
  16. KDH was way better than Casadei, I don't care whether a player is homegrown or a signing, KDH has benefited from Barnes and Maddison going and the drop down in levels more than anyone, possibly Ndidi aswell. He probably is a bottom half premiership player.
  17. Casadei has been hiding
  18. Only KDH and Mavididi look anywhere near there best from what I see. Casadei has to do more looks a bit clumsy to me. No real need for Faes to make a challenge there, it's a penalty in the prem with VAR that. Hermansen looks sloppy and a bit slow. Think Vardy and Albrighton are needed, some calm heads. There has been some good build up play
  19. Wolves haven't really improved much in 12 months, this is the sort of match that allows me to confidently predict we'd be 14th-15th in the premiership this season, Wolves are currently 12th, yes we have lost Maddison, Barnes and Tielemans, but Winks is more affective for us this season than Tielemans was last season. We have way more wide options now than just Barnes, Maddison is the only real loss, an I'm not sure the team would be functioning so well with a star in it anyway. Add to that Hermanson better than Ward, Perreira better than Castagne, KDH better than last seasons KDH. Vestegaard better than Amartey, an people are paranoid that we will struggle next season, I don't think we'd struggle this season in the premiership we'd just be somewhere in the bottom half.
  20. Surely we either buy new defenders or adapt our style in the premiership to hide the current defences weaknesses?
  21. We need another striker for the premiership anyway tho, I can't bank on any of those 4 scoring 15 premiership goals in a season if we get promoted, if we have a 10 point cushion we may be able to get a PL quality striker if they think it's only for 3-4 months.
  22. I think with the current squad we have and manager we'd finish 14th or 15th this season in the premiership. With 10 more months to work on it and hopefully 4-5 more signings, we should be somewhere between 9th-14th or 15th next season. (I just think the 3 teams that go up this season will be better than the 3 that just went up). Main concern is the defence, a CM and a striker to finish in the higher end of those places.
  23. Takeaways from extended highlights for me. 1) we look better when a team presses us, allows us to play through that press. 2) Ndidi massive improvement this season but, I was left thinking for the first time, I'm not sure he's consistent enough for where we really wanna be, which is top 10 premiership. 3) KDH- I think will benefit from a season in the championship, impressed with some of his passing. 4) How much better do we look with pace on both wings. 5) hmmm maybe Faes/Vestegaard may be good enough should we get promoted back to the prem, but still believe the ceiling is probably bottom half of premiership for them. 6) Love that we have a goalkeeper that can use his feet.
  24. I rate Michael Duff very highly, if in 2-3 years, Enzo was pipped we could do far worse than taking Duff, speaks sense, he will be a premiership manager at some point wouldn't be shocked if they have an outside chance of the play offs.
  25. Before we signed him I had heard of Musa from Nigeria Internationals. Playing in a world cup is a bigger stage than the championship, im on about before we signed him.Maddison had played for Aberdeen and Norwich before he joined us, I haven't paid much attention to the championship during our premiership years.
