I think he's been off it the last few games. Certainly by his standards. But hopefully yesterday marks a return.
-
He stretches the pitch and allows other patterns of play to evolve. But i have no confidence he would convert any chances created. However he is the best of three poor options. Which says it all!
-
Pleased for the lad as recently his form had massively dipped. But he finished the match strongly after the goal. Im intrigued why he seems to have almost given up the drive down the line, relentlessly cutting inside. Its the equal threat of both that will trouble FBs. Stay unpredictable Fats.
-
He offers literally nothing going forward. So thereby undermines the wingers play. But worse still he apparently now can't even defend or in fact run. Catastrophic

Julián Carranza joins on loan - Official

Let's give him a start so we can be completely clear of his limitations. Then sending him packing if shite. -
Totally. I said that in another thread. VK will overlap at times. But Thomas never does and Fats was actually playing without a standard FB on that side. But neither looks in form and Fats is becoming a little one dimensional constantly cutting inside looking for a top corner worldie

He did well and was the complete opposite of Ayew. Get it and move it on quickly. Always looking to link with team mates. -
Hugely regressed. He looks depressed and devoid of any mojo. Wingers blow hot and cold. But Stephy has been off it for a while. My bigger worry is that Fats seems to be capturing the same bug.

Yeah this lads definitely not going to be the solution. -
Im just saying that tactically it was looking better 1st half. But Mavs and Fats are not in form. Which is not entirely the managers fault. What he does about it will be though.
-
Neither FB is very good. But VK does at least push on and get in diff positions. Thomas does sweet FA. Which means Monga got doubled up on constantly
-
Give over. That 1st half was the best patterns of play ive seen all season. But unfortunately our wide men aren't creating anything. And our set up is pretty reliant on them firing which they aren't.

Why? Do you feel we have better options available? -
I just think, sadly, we're going to have to start him. He's poor. But the options are terrible.

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
Marshall Cockney Fox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
He's not a resource, he's a hindrance. He doesn't link play or connected with his team mates. Certainly not before the oppos have all 11 eleven of theirs behind the ball and in position. Dreadful! -
I'll take that line up. Ample quality on the park. But it will only work if we bring those wingers into the game early and they play well. If Ayew shoves it up his jumper and we become ponderous in possession. It'll not look so good or work. Strap in!!

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
Marshall Cockney Fox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
He is 50% a good player. He holds the ball up well. But then undermines all his good work with the other 50% which is poor. He shoves the ball up his jersey and has no vision or interest in connecting with his team mates. He's like the kid in the playground with an over inflated sense of his ability - beyond greedy!! -
He wouldn't go

I'm fairly certain he's shite. But now I can only be pleasantly surprised. -
Jordan James (joined on loan, official)

True. But we have already moved quiet a bit out already -
Nope. Whatever his skill set is, beyond hogging the ball for an eternity to kill all forward momentum. He is definitely not a target striker.

Victor Kristiansen (an option for Forest, Percy.)
Marshall Cockney Fox replied to davieG's topic in Transfer Talk
He's surely perfectly capable of doing a job for us in the championship. I thought Thomas offered nothing offensively on Fri night. So maybe VK can be more of an outlet on the left. -
Do you think even those crazy Zambian fans still think he's a footballing messiah? As he a comedy sketch masquerading as a footballer. There is little left for him to surprise us with, as such has been his consistency. But bizarrely he does improve us at times, as he creates movement and pulls defenders around. But boy do we need to sign something better - soon!!
-
He looks very average to me. His use of the ball is night and day compared yo his senior partner Vester. Faes I think is a better baller. But we all know Wouts weaknesses
-
Can't criticise the lad. But he didn't do much after that goal at all. Is he just getting his fitness up at the moment? As I wanted him to take it to the FB. But it never really happened
