The numbers…. There were Under 2k in Leicestershire -10% striking 30k in Nottinghamshire - 20% striking 56k in S Yorks - 96% striking Leicestershire wouldn’t have really registered as ‘a thing’…. There were more coal miners in Kent!

It was principally the Notts miners who get the grief for not striking…. Although a much smaller industry in Leics we barely had any striking miners…. I remember as a very young boy my Mum giving me a fair amount of money (for us) to go and put in their collection pot on Galowtree Gate…

Even though it was our worst performance of the season, WhyTF have I just wasted 30 mins scrolling through reactionary bilge? It’s not cheered me up one jot….

I think I may have posted about my experience in here somewhere…? Talented chefs and very good food Service was a total disaster and took us the best part of 3 and half hours to get through our taster menu low end over varnished slightly sticky tables too! I would go back, but my wife wouldn’t !

That midfield duo were only consistently bettered by Keane and Scholes or Vierra and Petit in that era…. It was easily the strongest part of our team…

Be prepared for a very boring wait in the concourse after the game…. I think they locked us in for the best part of 90 minutes until they escorted us to the buses I saw and had no issues, but just have your whits about you… and mostly, enjoy it…. Our game was crap, but the experience was amazing and the city is stunning

The post horn gallop, What happens when we score and how people shout a lot! This should allow him to process what he’s about to experience Autism can be a true super power for many kids and adults…. I have been privileged enough to do some interviews with people with autism who can bring so much insight and understanding to topics that I’d never got from others… I really hope he has a positive experience…. It’s a great pleasure taking kids to their first matches…. You only go for the first time once… Ben

My Dad was there…. I wasn’t 😔 (a bit too young) Being stood in the kop for games was really to behold…. A mile away from today’s sanitised match day experience…. Could be a little intimidating at times too!
