Tried the Abbeydale last Friday (walkable for me) It was absolutely rammed…. We hadn’t booked, but a really friendly guy clocked us and sorted a table within half a pint at the bar… Food was excellent- fish fry superb and I had the lamb chops - yum! watching Derby smash Bristol on tellies you can’t escape was a little distracting and as I was with my wife and two daughters I regularly got a bollocking for becoming distracted!

I honestly don’t think, I suspect mid table mediocrity is on the table, but I’ve been wrong before!

35 league clubs have had points deductions, so it’s hardly uncommon, but I’m more pissed off about rigged it all is for the big clubs…. Of course, we shouldn’t have fallen foul of the rules, but it happens quite a lot… We’re now 15 behind Wrexham, and I’m not sure the shift from 9 points makes a massive difference if we go down, then there’s a real issue, we shouldn’t be anywhere near the drop zone with this squad….
