I think the thing people have an issue with is the timing of the announcement. Fans have been asking the club for some sort of acknowledgement or event to commemorate the 10 year anniversary all season, but the club only decided to announce something yesterday, a day before the club is almost certainly going to be confirmed as relegated. Its just tone deafness from the club.

The only upside for me from a personal point of view is that I can get on a bus literally from my doorstep straight to Oakwell.
