  1. There are too many mediocre players who wouldn’t get into any other team in the division. For the past 2 seasons we have had no recognisable style or method of playing. Most sides have actually looked as though they have a plan in place and move methodically and athletically. The only players who actually have given half decent performances, even accounting for mistakes made in the process, are Thomas, Skipp, Fatawu and Vesty. Others may not have played enough matches for consideration. The fact that we do not have a striker than can score when presented with a relatively easy chance, is a major cause of our problems. Scoring another 12 or 14 goals wouldn’t see us in the position we are in.
  2. When Rodgers started belittling the players and saying we hadn’t got enough quality, when he was trying to get more money from the board. We had Kasper, Vardy, Maddison, Tielemans, Barnes, Albrighton, plenty of quality there. He threw the players under the bus. He should have been sacked then.
  3. No it is still Leicester City. The obsession of some posters with calling it KPFC has brainwashed some into believing it. The vast majority of us know who we are and the constant attempt at trying to perpetuate KPFC on us does not work. Whether the owner changes or not, like it or not, you are in a very small minority who think we are anything other than LCFC. Up the CITY
  4. So sad that the hate for the owner and Rudkin, has overridden the love for Leicester City.
  5. Why so patronising ?
  6. I don’t need anyone’s permission and FWIW I am KP out.
  7. I have renewed. My club, my choice. Same for those who don’t want to renew. Their choice.
  8. I didn’t say the Kop has a great atmosphere. I’ve been to enough grounds to know that these days, even at the so called grounds of wonderful fans, like Liverpool, Newcastle and Man Utd. , have flat atmospheres. A good atmosphere is spontaneous and involves most of the ground, not just a singing/standing section. I haven’t singled out the Kop for having an atmosphere when we are doing well, but when the whole ground gets involved. Look at the publicity we got when we won the league, as the ground was shaking, and commentators all remarked on it when they came.
  9. You are not taking in to account the circumstances . Presumably you have been following football long enough to know how form, league position and playing style affect crowd atmosphere. City totally would have been in full voice if they were performing and potentially getting in the playoffs, against big time Charlie’s from the PL. I sit on the kop and there are plenty of older fans who sing and many younger ones that don’t. I expect those who want to stand opted for the safe standing. The Kop weren’t all standing in the great escape season or the title winner. I’m impressed at how well some on here know the demographic of other clubs fans. Apparently only City seem to have fans over the age of 30 and every other club seem to be stadium full of Peter Pan clones. I’m proud that we have long time, 40+ plus years supporters and am surprised that others don’t. Perhaps you just don’t see them on your once a season visit and shots of the same areas on TV.
  10. Probably because they are playing well, are on a good run and had nothing to lose last night against Arsenal. Also have a great chance of play offs. Don’t understand why you actually cannot see what a difference all the above makes to an atmosphere. If we were in the same position we would easily match Saints’ atmosphere. Being in the bottom 3 bears no resemblance to the situation at Southampton, which affects the atmosphere greatly. As for WYS, it’s historically a City song, going back to the 60s and 70s. When Colin Murray had radio programmes about football anthems, he selected WYS as one of the best around.
  11. Still don’t understand why some on here cannot accept that the thousands who attend City’s matches are, wait for it, actually Leicester City Supporters. The condescending tag of KPFC fans, seems to have replaced the equally detrimental tag of Happy Clappers. Names given by people who slag anything and everything related to City but must be better fans as they alone can see the trouble we’re in and refuse to attend matches, which is their choice, which apparently means they care more than those of us who try to encourage the team, by attending, difficult though it is at times. We all know the financial trouble and total incompetence shown by Top and Rudkin, which has put us in this situation. Just accept that we are City fans only.
  12. Tip toe through the Trent End with your handbag and a sawn off shotgun, tiptoe through the Trent End with me.
  13. Heluleh Heluleh Allan Clarke, Heluleh Allan Clark (Tremeloes) Come on without, come on within, you’ve not seen nothing like the mighty String. Mollie Malone for Derek Dougan. Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, Lenny Glover
  14. Not only did Madders miss the penalty , he made that dreadful back pass against Bournemouth without looking and we lost the game 1 0
  15. Well done to all who went last night. Could hear you easily on the t.v . Boro only seemed to come alive when they had a spell of possession.
  16. Some true colours being shown tonight and they are not blue and white! Good luck to those travelling to the game and hope you are rewarded for your support. If they lose, no doubt the scoffers on here will be delighted.
  17. Lots of moaning about Rowett but don’t see many alternatives being suggested.
  18. How obnoxious are you. Your choice for manage?
  19. Not at all the same. Saville was an abuser of trust and vulnerability . His charity work facilitated that end. The City memories were special to many of us and I think your flippant response was in very poor taste.
  20. This wasn’t aimed at you, any blank quote was inadvertent. Fans haven’t stayed quiet regarding the mismanagement. Top needs to sell but Rudkin really needs to be got rid of. The bullet points raised are none that I subscribe to. I support the team as well as I can at games. I get angry and frustrated with events both on and off the pitch. Sadly there have been a number of posters licking their lips at any impending relegation, so they can blame the fans that go to games.
  21. West Ham have been at their owners throats for years without anything changing. Same as Spurs before Levy left when he decided he wanted to. These teams also have twice as many supporters in the ground as City so more noise, obviously. Owners will go when they choose to or when financially most beneficial for them. Mike Ashley was also abused for years, but again went when he chose to. The fans that support the team on match days are trying to do what they can, if anything, to help the team. For that, they get derisory abuse from many fans, who by their own admission, do not attend matches. They are called KPFC, which is meant to be insulting, but these supporters know why they attend games, it’s to support LCFC.Some of you may get your twisted wish of City getting relegated in the vain hope of the owner selling, but if that doesn’t happen then we are even worse of financially. But then you can just blame the match going fans like you always do.
  22. City v Manchester City
  23. Cup replay - 4. 3 Man City 1968
  24. We still call it Filbo.
