Forest win. My love for City far outweighs my hate for Forest.

Living in the Past and The Impact on Today

I sense a dislike for Vardy who is our “captain”. Which several mangers are you referring to. Thought we all wanted Rodgers and Cooper out -
Settle a Centre Back Argument For Me
OnlyOneCity replied to Manwell Pablo's topic in Leicester City Forum
Would leave out Maguire, toss up between Walsh and Elliott, would probably have to reluctantly leave out Walshie as in this era, he’d be suspended for most of the season. Huth seems to be a shoe in. -
You’re just what we want, negativity seeps from every pore🤨

We have too many players who are so inconsistent. Wilf can be brilliant one week then awful for 3. Same with Faes and Mav. Only player who shows any consistency is Mads. Vardy when given the service is pretty reliable. When I watch Ipswich and Everton, they have several players who are pretty solid. Ipswich attack with some pace and Everton are fairly solid defensively. Although these teams are at the bottom, they do have some possible match winners in defence and attack. We need to find this consistency.

Was Ward at fault with any of the goals?

Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be many parking spaces in easy to exit areas outside your own turnstile.

This happens at the majority of stadiums so don’t think it only applies to City fans. I remember standing on the Pop side in the 60s and unable to understand why the Main stand used to start emptying before the end. I was only a teenager and wouldn’t have been concerned about trains, buses or traffic as me and my friends used to walk back into town, stopping for a bag of chips at Aylestone Rd. Chippy, then taking a leisurely stroll to Humberstone Gate where the buses ran every 20 mins. It will continue to happen so can some of you stop banging on about it.

He’s never got over Rodgers choosing to come to City from his beloved Celtic. Even said at the time that Celtic’s reserve team was bigger than City’s 1st team. Loves the sound of his own voice and doesn’t like to be challenged.

Wilf was outstanding second half on Tuesday because he wasn’t asked to play up front and made a lot of vital blocks and clearances.
-
Having watched Saints and Ipswich today, we seem some way behind them with attacking intent. Need to play the best form of defence which is attacking.

Could have driven a couple of tanks through our midfield today. Such a massive gap between Vardy and the rest. How many times were Chelsea allowed the space to run about 20 or 30 yards upfield unopposed . Time for Cooper to go. He’s unable to inspire or motivate the players and our attacking play is non existent . We have some decent players but he is making them look useless. Ndidi should be nowhere near the opposition penalty area. He’s a defensive midfielder not a striker, although he should have been able to get the shot on target today.

I’d be interested to know the ages of those on here who are so easily ready to give up on City. Yes things are grim right now and we’ve been very badly managed by the board and Rodgers, which has helped to create this mess. Some of you younger fans are always griping about the older ones still going to matches and apparently taking up seats which should be for younger ones. Well. Us old gits have been through worse times than this over the decades, but we’re still going and supporting the team as best we can. Don’t accuse us of being the derogatory “happy clappers”, but accept that we have an undying love for our club. What happened to Leicester till I die.?

Can’t stand Jason Mohammed. A bit too hyper on final score.

We won’t hear Leicester City mentioned outside of their game highlights, once Gary goes. Great to have a legend throwing our name in so often. Will have to rely on Roy Cropper bringing back City names in the cafe. Remember Claridge on his gas equipment many years ago?

So you are a Spurs fan🤨. Vardy’s team ethic was really highlighted when we played Swansea in 2015/16, a week after Vardy beat the goal scoring record. He was in a decent position to shoot and break the all time top division record, but chose instead to lay the ball off to Mahrez who was in a better position, who scored and I think completed his hat trick. Vardy is the epitome of a team mate.

City made so many careless mistakes tonight and were punished with goals or loss of possession. Forest barely put a foot wrong and were solid in defence, which we weren’t and quick on the break. We were neither. They were on the front foot and we were on our heels. Poor defending cost us dearly.

Friends of mine went to New York in 2018. When the taxi driver asked them where they were from, they said Leicester. The taxi driver said very enthusiastically “ ahh Jamie Vardy”. -
You think the Chelsea board are sane sensible people?

My moan was not about giving him an easy time but be less embarrassing with the word used. Agree with all the above re. lack of any loyalty shown by him.
