  1. Robert - that sounds a bit odd.
  2. I think it’s fair to complain at that price and warn others - I’ve never had hospitality at KP but have in a fair few other other grounds both personal and corporate. It’s a very mixed experience from the outstanding (box at the Etihad was straight out of first class airport lounge) to the Bernebeau (an underground buffet in a tiny room)! Price is not a reliable indicator of quality at stadiums unfortunately. If paying personally I’d look for reviews (difficult for first game with staff shortages I appreciate).
  3. Arrived this morning - weight off before Saturday!
  4. I’m waiting on 2 as well - surname is “c” so not alphabetical!
  5. Walk from Euston to Euston Square (2/3 mins) and Metropolitan line to Wembley Park Alternatively Euston to Oxford Circus on the Victoria Line and change at Oxford Circus to Wembley Central on the Bakerloo Line Good luck - I personally prefer the Bakerloo line route as train is a bit quieter from there as fully loaded by Euston Square on the other route but either is dead easy.
  6. If you decide to go the bike parking is, I recall, by section B2 (it’s at street level). I’ve used it pretty easily and safely on a couple of occasions. A joy to get free of the crowds on a bike especially if we win!
  7. Ignore this post - replied to SydenhamFox without quoting his.
  8. I’ve come to the same (sad) conclusion - best wishes to your mate.
  9. Worth remembering that all of the current events are part of, what is essentially, an experiment and anyone who attends is a part of an experiment - an experiment that seems to be failing pretty spectacularly at the moment given the feedback from Wembley and Wimbledon i.e. no effective test check and no cross-checking test to identity. Not to mention faked tests and ticketless fans. I’m an STH and was looking forward to the Community Shield but have my doubts having seen the outcome of the latest events. And I would go straight to the stadium and out again i.e. no pissed up mixing beforehand - lord alone knows what that level of mixing contributed to the infections! https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/information-on-the-events-research-programme/information-on-the-events-research-programme
  10. I gave up 11 months ago as I was getting fed up with using it to cope and then feeling even crapper physically and mentally afterwards. I do miss it on occasion especially when out but I don’t get hung up about it or apologise for it. I’m quite happy to say I’m not drinking at the moment and have a soft drink or a zero alcohol beer - some of my friends who I would meet for a boozy lunch or dinner have been noticeably down on invitations to do the same without booze but hey that’s probably telling me more about our friendship than anything else. Great positives that I’ve taken are that my close relationships are way better as no danger of drinking too much and being an idiot, quality of sleep is simply outstanding!, left me more time to enjoy things rather than use them as a vehicle for a ‘session’ and I’m seriously fitter and healthier. I don’t see myself drinking regularly again. Good luck to you - best wishes.
  11. Thanks davieG - I’ll do that. Hip will need a stretch out during a game and me walking down a full row wouldn’t be fun for anyone at the moment!
  12. I'm thinking of moving our season tickets when the relocation window opens - does anyone have a link to a numbered row and seat seating plan? Currently in J2 and due to a hip impingement I need to get on the end of a row so need to know what numbers to ask for if available. Thanks to anyone who has a link - should have checked when I got the tix for the Spurs game and the plan was up on the buying page but forgot...
  13. No - the algorithm will only flag a negative i.e. non-submission or an alert submission (yes box) if it allows you to submit at all. If you tick with a nothing to see here it'll auto approve.
  14. Barnes doesn’t cover Chilwell enough and Chilwell himself is defending poorly. The absence of a Ndidi highlights our vulnerability - need Mads and Tielemans back on form and some width. Surprised Albrighton wasn’t used yesterday as the service to Vardy and KI was very poor. Evans has been class all season.
  15. It's a horrible ground to get to and back on the train for an evening ko. I've got a mate who is a Villa season ticket holder so he's going to try and sort me a home ticket. We were meant to put in place a ticket resale system a couple of years ago but nothing doing to date.
  16. After one too. I work in Bham so the fall back is to try and get a home ticket and sit on my hands!
  17. Depends on how you get to and from the game - personally on occasion I have to leave 5 mins early to ensure I get my train back home. I wouldn't criticise anyone for leaving early just as long as they wait for a break in play.
  18. Why do we start so slow. We dealt with the game once we equalised but it seems we need to go a goal down to focus. Frustrating - mate who is a WBA season ticket holder is raving about Harvey Barnes. I’d love to get him and Hamza get some game time.
  19. I think there is a difference between passing on a ticket to friends or family of selling at face value (or pro-rata for STH's) to genuine fans and profiteering - the latter should not be tolerated by the Club or anyone on this forum. I'd rather see a seat filled than empty but nobody should be profiting from that or risking their membership/ST.
  20. My parents retired to the South coast - if anyone has two tickets it would be incredible ....
  21. I've bought 2 tix (adult and u18) for Valencia and now nailed at Work. I know they are still on general sale but happy to give them away (print out) if anyone needs. Top of SK4. NOW GONE
  22. Hi, I'm a new season ticket holder this year and noted that on my account details there is an option to opt into the Carabao Cup Scheme and FA Cup Scheme. However I could not find any details on the website of what those schemes meant. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.
  23. Me and my son have been members for 2 years and bought every ticket we could and went - we got a hefty points total and this summer we finally got season tickets. If you're patient and build the points our experience is the system works in the end (given our limited capacity at the moment). On the total other side of the coin (my other son is a Man U fan (still makes me feel slightly nauseous)) and we've been members there for 2 years and only been to half a dozen games but we just got a call from the ticket office offering us season tickets which we took. It's just a question of stadium capacity I think.
  24. It took me about 15 mins of refreshing and then trying but glad to see you got in eventually. I did get a confirmation email so hope you did too.
  25. Trying to register but the website is useless - anyone been able to register? Got in eventually - registered.
