Can anyone explain why we seem to be so good at picking out defensive gems? Other than the couple of obvious flops, we've found loads of great defensive players for good prices in recent years. Many of whom significantly increased their value after signing. And why is it that this hasn't translated much to midfield and forward signings? We have made successful signings in these positions, but they've generally been more hit and miss, more expensive and from prominent clubs. Are they scouted differently? Or we have better defensive scouts? I don't know anything beyond FM and genuinely interested how it works at Leicester. Or if anyone even agrees this is a pattern.

Something else has to go drastically wrong for that side to get relegated. They're not a million miles from getting their shit together and hoping for a good season next season.

Mark my words this will be a disastrous signing if it happens. Today's fresh face is tomorrow's deadwood.

If they manage that today, we're only a new manager and binning Vestergaard away from being back on the right track again.

I'm definitely boycotting the first game. Absolutely fuming at the decision to stop Kane wearing the armband. But FIFA are fine with Iran banning women from their stadiums. I'd have been happy for England to have pulled out of the tournament. FIFA is absolutely not fit for purpose, but what's new there? They need replacing. I'll consider watching the other England games, I don't partcularly think that boycotting works as BBC have already paid for the rights and it's not pay per view. But in this case, all the political stuff is pissing me off so much that I can't be arsed to subject myself to it for the length of the broadcast.

If I was him I'd definitely rile up the Internet fans just for a laugh. 99% of the fan base won't even hear about what he does on social media. Maybe he just thinks we all need to get out more and likes messing with us lot but is much more fond of the rest of the Leicester fans.

Thank god someone started a thread to bring this refreshingly frank point of view to our attention. Here's what I'd do: 1. Get @Bryn in charge. We need someone the club has faith in. 2. Sell all our best players. 3. Make a series of inspired signings. No more signing tried and tested players. We need to start plucking diamonds out of the French second division again and adding three zeroes to their value within a couple of years. Repeatedly. 4. Bring better players through the academy. 5. Bring back the clappers. One game without them was a draw. Coincidence???
