  1. No but was looking at an offer on a Japan cruise and stay itinerary this morning. Any idea how expensive Japan is, food and drinks etc, whilst you're there?
  2. I'm having my mail redirected, my residence here is going to be long.
  3. Nah, I'm sure there are alternative ways we can fukc it up and cov make the play offs.
  4. Get your coat 🙄🤣
  5. As much as it pains me to say, I'd like a 7 - 0 win for Spurs.
  6. By that measure none of Klopp, Pep or Arteta will not be nominated for Manager of the season in the Prem, when we know they will. To most people, no, I'm afraid he hasn't. McKenna has.
  7. I cannot comprehend how the Manager of the season nominations are McKenna, Farke and Rosenior. All season we've had what an outstanding job McKenna, Enzo and Farke have been doing and how it's been a remarkable points accumulating season. So, they've nominated Rosenior!? McKenna is the correct winner but it's very odd.
  8. I had the misfortune of going to the Forest game tonight. Their pre match tifo. WTF even is that. And even more annoyingly, I think those points will keep them up.
  9. Ford are the only ones currently on the Octopus list as resolved. Basically they just need to make the app secure to the satisfaction of each manufacturer. In theory a developer needs to tweek some code and job done, shouldn't take long. However, it doesn't appear to be happening that quickly.
  10. Easy peel, easy opening, all the same. Never are. Equally, child proof items are harder to open than a bank vault. For adults, kids are in them in a nano second.
  11. Annoying the African nations have had a load of friendlies, the AFCON has only just finished.
  12. I hope that your daughter receives the care that she needs. And, that it also brings you some sense of peace that's she's in a safe space. I'm uncertain if those are the most appropriate descriptions to use. I can't imagine the stress you've been going through @Parafox
  13. Lots of the car manufacturers are now restricting 3rd party apps connecting to their cars, for data security reasons. Octopus Intelligent Go relies on the Octopus app connecting to your car or charger. We've just been notified that Octopus can no longer access our car for smart charging purposes and that in 2 months we'll lose our Intelligent tariff and be switched to Octopus Go, on a higher evening rate and for 4 hours instead of 6. Octopus and JLR have advised they are working on a new improved secure version of the app. The Octopus website has the VW group, Tesla and JLR as manufacturers with an issue. All listed as working on a secure solution, no timescales, though. It doesn't apply if you have an Ohme charger as Octopus control, that and not your car. So, if you find your smart charging plan no longer appears in your Octopus app, this will be why.
  14. Correct. Historically they added a few months so that if you renewed early you weren't penalised. Which was surprisingly consumer friendly for the Gov. My passport was issued Jan '18, it expires May '28. Under the old rules, I was fine to travel up to Jan/Feb '28. Now it's Sept '27. But I know that because it's been published, a lot. The travel websites tell you to check. Lots of people have publicised it since the change came into effect. If I fail to check, it's my fault, not the airline or passport control. Mine. And I get that people can make a mistake, fine, we all do it. It's the blaming of others, which riles me. I think this is one for the what grinds my gears thread...
  15. This isn't a recent change. I'm not sure if it's just me but, if I'd been this level of an idiot I would keep it quiet not go running to the BBC. Does anyone actually accept personal responsibility these days? It tells you in a good selection of places to check your passport validity, check if you need a visa etc. The responsibility lies with the traveller to do this.
  16. Holy f*****!!!!
  17. Nigel Pearson is your man for there 😂 🐺
  18. BBC News - Lost power, a mayday call and the crash that brought down a Baltimore bridge https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-68670567 The ship lost power, so no engines or steering, the local pilot onboard had the bridge closed to traffic. The missing people were road crew working on the bridge. An awful tragedy but could have been far worse.
  19. Fully agree with the BIB. Tielemans needed to be at that level for the other 37 games though, which he certainly wasn't.
  20. Tielemans recovered from his 'cantbearseditus' and scoring for Belgium against England.
  21. Thanks. We're there on a cruise so have a ship excursion for Sorrento and we'll just walk Naples on our return.
  22. We've gone for Sorrento. And that tour allows us 2 or 3 hours in Naples, too.
  23. Mmmm Good luck. To be fair, not all sales/moves are an absolute nightmare. I don't know anyone who didn't have issues and stress, but there must be some......
