Port Grimaud certainly looks lovely and isn't necessarily too far. We arrive back from a cruise into Marseille and currently have no fixed plan. The other half has repeatedly said about wishing to explore areas of France. It seemed an ideal opportunity to hire a car and have a look around. Although, we've presently no idea where exactly. Driving along the coast and then circle back through the countryside is an option. I've sorted the cruise so I'm happy, anything extra is just a bonus in my book.

Unlike last season there's going to be quite a list for that accolade. Winks isn't necessarily getting the headlines, he's not doing the tricks and flicks of others. He is certainly the calm and intelligence of the team though.

He's not wrong though. An insane amount of money gets spent by people that often can't afford it on absolute crap, just for the sake of it. And you see people buying ridiculous amounts of food, it's one meal. Yes, have a few extra treats but masses must go to waste and that's ridiculous. Previously the same but stayed for 4 nights in April. Very pleasantly surprised by how nice it was.

We'll be there end of June. Depending on what return flights suit best we'll probably stay for 4 to 6 nights. Have a drive around a few towns - vineyards and cheese, what's not to like

Food bought last week with a supermarket delivery of the fresh stuff tomorrow. Both me and the other half have had new smart watches. Parents have a bike bag and perfume. Dog has a new blanket and collar. So, yes, we're all done.

It was last summer and a nearly new ish one. Can't recall in detail, looked at one on the forecourt, said absolutely not and left. I'm sure some of the Merc's are great, everyone everytime ours went in to be looked at we got a courtesy one, most were better than ours in fairness. Had an Audi before the XE, it didn't have many bells and whistles but they were less of a thing then. It was a lovely drive.

It was the Sportage we looked at. The 7 year warranty was the only attractive part. At the time we had a Jaguar XE and a Land Rover. We were looking to swap to just one vehicle, it wasn't just the quality, it was the styling of everything. Although, if I'd known the significant step down in quality when we bought the Mercedes we might have been as well with the Kia! Still, due to the cost of used EV's dropping in the interim months, it's all resolved now 🙂

So Tom keeps saying too. Personally, I didn't like anything about the Kia we looked at. OH had an IX35 some years ago which was a decent car, although it's 4x4 capacity was sadly lacking, which was about the only reason for changing it. I'm more than happy now with the IPace. Won't be swapping it for a good while.

According to Wiki, De Mont capacity is 7k. I though it was smaller too. Seems odd to build another arena with the same capacity.
