  1. The live stream service is mainly for Underage games (Minor, Under 21, schools for now but will probably expand to colleges and clubs down the road). TG4 has them on their youtube channel. RTE and SKY have the senior rights but you'll find them easy enough online over the summer. Only active in the last week by TG4 but could be open to people internationally. If you don't know much about the games it'll be a bit lost on you but to learn more about Gaelic Football and Hurling it's a very good introduction. Underage games are a bit different to say Leicester or England under 21s in that they are important to the local community and a guide to how a team will do in the future. Last year Kerry and Cork played and brought a crowd of 8,000.Not a lot compared to a Premier League game but given the small population of Ireland the attendances are insane. The Under 21 national semi finals are on in 2 weeks and are always enjoyable. That said I thought Cork and Kerry would be a good one last night so you can never quite tell.
  2. Oh you wont be talking like that when they have to face the West Indies in the 2nd round. They've won every year since they beat the Dallas Cowboys in 1978.
  3. From a decent album too. Knew Talk Talk from the early Synth New Romantic leanings. To think of their later works and what impact it's left on the world is scarcely believable.
  4. Never stopped any of us commenting on Leicester City matters before!!
  5. Kerry 2-16 (22) Cork 0-6. A disaster of a night to be starting a stream service. This is normally a brilliant grade for close competitive football but typical they start covering it live and that happens. Kerry were good but Cork made it far too easy for them. One point from play in 60 minutes. A night to forget. Dublin won the Leinster final beating Offaly 2-14 (20) to 0-8. 2 Ulster semi finals cancelled due to bad weather. Kerry look like the next dominant force in the game.
  6. Not the senior. TG4 have a nice little niche in underage and club level games.RTE has never had the interest. Kerry much better here. Cork not at the races so far.
  7. Irish speaking station TG4 streaming Under 21 Football games tonight for the first time.Reckon it works abroad. Munster Final between the old firm like rivals Kerry and Cork. Under 21 in GAA is just as intense as the senior. Irish commentary aside could be well worth a watch this. Starts at 7.30.
  8. Big kasabian feature on Q magazine recently.
  9. Maybe something hip and with it like all the kool kidz are digging at the minute! I'm in love with you Vardy Oh—I—oh—I—oh—I—oh—I I'm in love with you Vardy Oh—I—oh—I—oh—I—oh—I I'm in love with you Vardy Oh—I—oh—I—oh—I—oh—I I'm in love with you Vardy To the tune of Ed Sheeran's Shape of You
  10. The penalty save from the first leg v Sevilla. What a massive moment this was. For me one of the most iconic photos in the history of the club.
  11. Champions League games in Ireland are on TV3 on Tuesday and RTE on Wednesday. If Dunphy is on tonight he will fight our corner I'd say.
  12. BIt out of time but.....
  13. What a player he's been. His performance over the 2 Sevilla legs is the stuff of legend. It could have been 3 or 4 goals on the first leg only for him. Likely he'll go sadly but I will bear no bad feeling towards him if it happens.
  14. RTE aired a show last night about ex-professional players trying their hand at GAA and a GAA player going to train in a professional environment. Shane Williams of Wales went to train with a Donegal Gaelic Football club team and former All Ireland winning captain Michael Murphy went to train with Clermont Auvergne. Enjoyable.
  15. Not looking good for him . Might be this generations Akinbiyi. I'm willing to give him a few chances to put it right. Can't have been easy for anyone this season trying to find form.
  16. Paul McCarthy,a player who scored against Leicester in the 2001 fa cup defeat to Wycombe has passed away. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/39027291
  17. Watched Dublin and Tyrone highlights just now. What a free to force a draw at the end.
  18. Thought that alright. Beaten in both codes. Disappointing. Over to the foxes to save the day!!....
  19. Don't give them any chance against Thurles in November but they showed them up in a big way. I was down in Blackpool cork before the Munster final against Glen rovers. Was great colour and excitement around but Glen's fitness in the final was shocking. Tony Kelly was imperious too the same day. Gary Brennan is some operator. Played for ballyea last Saturday and then played for Clare footballers on the Sunday up in Derry. Was mentor to St flannans secondary schools football team before the hurling and all. Did you get the odds before Thurles game? Off to watch our football team play Westmeath today. Up against it. Hurlers playing davy fitz' wexford away too.
  20. 0-12 to 0-10.Slaughtneil into the All Ireland final. They could also make the hurling final yet and their Ladies hurling team have also reached the All ireland final. Considering they are drawing from a population of supposedly 1,500 it's a phenomenal story.
  21. The All Ireland club football semi finals on today. Slaughtneil of Derry on the verge of a big shock against favourites St Vincents of Dublin.Leading 0-11 to 0-8 with 10 minutes left. They've kicked some top class scores this half.
  22. Aphex Twin 2 of my favourite tunes. Closing track 'Matchsticks' from Selected Ambient Works 2. Windowlicker from 1999. There's nothing like it.Utterly timeless.
  23. Bit late with this one. Between the 1st April 2001 (when things went sour) to 1st April 2015 (before the great escape run) Leicester won 16 games in 114 played in the premier league over 4 seasons. From the great escape run to the day Wes Morgan lifted the Premier league trophy after Everton in May 2016 Leicester won 30 games from 46 premiership games.
