At 3-1, he decided to bully our whole team and force the win, which ultimately saw him awarded the MOTM. A true talisman. Keane used to do this for us, so I do rate Vardy highly. We are currently lacking a player like this. I suppose he'll be remembered as a divisive player. But even then many neutrals had a soft spot for him. Football -- not just LCFC -- will lose a lot when he's gone.

It's not that random! This may always have been a yo-yo club, but LCFC had finally reached a point where revenues and squad value were solidly top 25 in the world for a few years running. One or two dodgy decisions is NOT enough to bring down a club in that position. It took a LOT of horrific decisions on managerial appointments and player acquisitions and contracts, compounded by sticking with (or being locked into) the worst, to bring this club to its knees. We are where we are because we have been one of the worst run clubs in European football for five years now.
