  1. Wish I could say that I was surprised, but I really can’t.
  2. What a marvellous table as it stands, well done West Ham.
  3. Loved the first series. Just found out that one of the leading actresses committed suicide a year or two back, so she will sadly be missing.
  4. Rotterdam in two weeks, I’m sure Littler will get a warm reception!
  5. There are three people on this list I have never heard of and yes most of these salaries seem ridiculous to me. Difficult to call one out, but Vernon Kay , didn’t even know he was still presenting.
  6. Glad you got more enjoyment than I did watching Torquay ten years ago. I used to take a looked after child out on a Saturday and unfortunately for me he supported Torquay! I have to say they were horrendous and I was not that impressed with the general standard of the National League. He at least saw them beat FC United of Manchester in the FA Trophy to reach the semi final. It was strange to see terracing again I have to confess.
  7. Strike a light, and I’ll go to the foot of our stairs. Both very similar idioms.
  8. Funny what bugs people. So many things about modern football annoy me, such as simulation, argy bargy at corners and the sheer corruption within the game, but I couldn’t give a toss about goal celebrations.
  9. Appointing Rosenior was certainly left field. Bring back Potter I say, he never got a fair crack!
  10. We have won sweet Fanny Adams yet, people seem to be forgetting if Man City win their game in hand and beat us the gap is a mere three points!!
  11. Embarrassing performance by Liverpool, sort of sums up their league season.
  12. Stevie Wonder, a musical genius and one of the happiest guys on the planet. Got to see him in concert at Wembley Arena in 1989 and his energy was incredible.
  13. Not sure how Wade won 7 legs in that final!
  14. Nothing against Littler, but wouldn’t mind seeing Wade win this UK Open final.
  15. Today’s giant killing and yesterday’s fine performances from Mansfield and Wrexham continue to prove the FA Cup is still a fantastic competition, despite being undermined by the football hierarchy.
  16. So Trump has eventually fired Noem. The new sycophant at Homeland Security is called Markwayne Mullin,, so doubt there will be too much change there.
  17. I had quick look at Spurs remaining fixtures and they don’t make good reading for them. They still have to go to away to Liverpool, Villa, Chelsea, Sunderland and Wolves. At the moment they look done to me and Tudor doesn’t look like the sort of manager to turn it around.
  18. It happened 1st March, previous earliest one was 9th March.
