Said it last season. The club needs a leader, a Pearsonesque character who takes no shit from the players or the hierarchy. Obviously Pearson took it to the extreme, and took no shit from the fans or the media, but this is what we need. That's why RvNs stance on Winks was exactly the right one. Marti looks like he wants to be everybody's friend, which is understandable because he's new, but he better bring out his nasty side, or else these players/DoF will take the piss more then they already have.

In all of our 3 games this season we've been out fought and out worked. It's shocking to see how slow we are to every 2nd ball and the fact we can't be bothered to tackle. It's not about ability with us, it's about having a very poor attitude. McCann was everywhere for them, strong in the tackle, first to every ball and allowed us zero time on the ball.Half these players dont want to he here and they play like it. We wont improve until they're gone and replaced by hungrier players.

With options like Soumare or Skipp and Ayew or Daka, what do we expect. You can't polish a turd. He needs time for half of this squad to piss off, and to get hungrier players in. Preston are showing us what a hungry team can do.

Especially since he's been replaced by Soumare.

He's rubbish, out of position countless times, can't tackle and slow as shit.

I'd rather we play with 10 men, then have Soumare in the team.

There's no point in expecting anything from Soumare. Yesterdays lazy, disinterested performance has been the norm from him since he came here. How we've spent +40M and ended up with him and Skipp, only Rudkin and Glover know.

The players looked disinterested, especially the academy graduates. We know Soumare, Skipp, Daka are shit, but was shocked to see how bad the likes of Nelson, Alves and McAteer looked. This was their chance to push for more game time, but non of them seemed bothered.

Even Rudkin isn't stupid enough to sell Fats. He's looked absolutely electric since his injury and is the key to promotion. No chance he's going anywhere.

We got the win, but the game highlighted our midfield is very weak. Soumare and Skipp are shit. Winks is better but will probably leave, considering he had a face like a slapped arse after we won. I think we'll need one of our youngsters, possibly Page, to step up and use Ricky more as a CM.

Got no problem with his celebration. He got roundly booed when he came on and then scores the winning goal.

A players only worth what a clubs willing to pay. There's been a few gks moving around this summer, yet nobody has come in for him. I think we factored Mads leaving and would've hoped for 20-25M, but this late in the window, we've just had to take what we get.

25 days of fantastic test cricket squeezed into 6 weeks, kudos to both teams. I'm pretty confident of our chances down under. With all our bowlers fit, we'll blow that lightweight Aussie batting line up away.
