I genuinely believe if Ruud hadn't brought Monga into the team, Marti would've had him still playing in the academy. There's no reason Aluko and Nelson shouldn't be involved now. Marti has been a major disappointment.

Not the worse but I've got to agree, it was an early stoppage. Why did Parker ever risk a title fight and big payday for Wardley. He's got some clueless advisers.

All the more reason we should have kept him and got rid of these lard arse players.

The primary function of a CB is to defend, and in that respect I think he's better then both Vesty and Faes. He can't pass, but neither could Morgan. This system of the CBs having more ball then anybody else, and playing pretty triangles around our own penalty box has been a failure, get CBs that want to defend first and foremost.

How can a team like Millwall, amongst many others, have 2-3 players on our wingers yet their wingers waltz around the pitch without a care in the world. A midfield of James, Winks & Ramsay with Abdul and Mavididi/Monga on the wings, should be top level for this league. You can only assume the way our team is set up to both attack and defend is not good enough. Marti has to take responsibility for that. Every squad has its pros and cons, the best managers highlight the pros whilst hiding the cons.

As each game goes by, he's getting worse and worse. Managers know just to target him and you're getting goals.

I'm disappointed with Marti but also understand that you can't sack managers every couple of months and expect to be successful. I dont really care about the formation or the personnel, I just want to see a change in intent. Get the ball forward quickly instead of playing 100 passes between the CBs and CM. Encourage the players to take risks with their passing as opposed to making safe passes, as if possession is the holy grail. Encourage balls in space instead of playing to feet all the time, especially to the wingers and striker. The intent should be to attack and score goals, not hold onto the ball like it's a new born baby.
