  1. What a strange cameo. Didnt know whether to laugh or cry watching him trying to control a football.
  2. Bobby is so shit, it's laughable
  3. Put him up top
  4. Winks for Skipp, Coopers really going for it
  5. Looks like El Kannous's mum has had a word with Cooper.
  6. For me it's all about our attitude. If we go out there to win, we will. If we go out there, not to lose, then we won't.
  7. Tuchel is probably the best choice, considering he's managed in England and knows the players. Beyond that I think we put too much onus on club career to be honest. Fabio Capello is one of the most decorated club managers, but his England team was dire. Compare him to Southgate, whose only noteworthy achievement at club level was a relegation, yet England definitely advanced under him. Also take the Spanish coach, he managed for 25yrs at club level winning nothing, and then proceeded to win the Euros.
  8. Ironically you'd think Vesty better suits Cooper's gameplan of playing with a low block, negating one of his biggest weaknesses, his pace. It's as if Cooper watched our games from last season, saw what worked (Vesty & Ricky) and decided to do the opposite.
  9. Although not the worse decision by boxing standards, I think Bivol won by 1 round, draw at the worse. But one judge gave it to Beterbiev by 4 rounds, that kind of scoring is not great for the sport.
  10. I'm not sure anybody is bypassed. Cooper spoke openly about wanting experienced PL players, so it makes sense Ayew and Bobby are more influenced by him. On the other hand Bilal & Soule are probably more analyst and scout influenced. Obviously Soule we couldn't get over the line.
  11. I wouldn't blame the recruitment team, BDR and Ayew are both Cooper signings, supposedly our team needed more PL experience. Edouard is a desperation signing, because nobody else wanted to come here. On paper it didn't look too bad, but so far he's been a disaster. We can only hope he gets better.
  12. Judging by yesterday's game, Forest are far better than us. If Gibbs White is fit, I'd expect them to beat us easily with a Chris Wood goal to top it off. That might be the death knell for Coops.
  13. Forest giving as good as their getting. Nice to see.
  14. As good a passage of football as you'll likely to see this weekend. Puts pay to the notion that some of our own fans have, that we're a shit newly promoted team that should be happy to just be playing in the PL. If we play a trio of Mav, Facundo and Abdul, we could be deadly going forward.
  15. They just air brushed it out. Discussed the Palace possible pen, but completely ignored our blatant pen.
  16. I can't believe anybody can watch the display today and think things are fine, that this is our future, a team spending majority of the time camped outside their own penalty area with 11 men behind the ball, ceding 70% of territory to their opponents. Away to Arsenal it was understandable, but home to a bottom half PL team. We've conceded something like 120+ shots already this season. Irrespective of the result today, the current tactics are unsustainable. Personally I'm clearer then ever that Cooper isn't good enough and we need to part ways.
  17. I thought he'd be potentally our best loan, but he's dreadful. I can't believe this guy plays in the PL, looks L1/L2 standard
  18. Disgusting display but great result. Cooper is our achilles heel.
  19. There's definitely one thing he's learnt from playing with Zaha, that's how to win a free kick.
  20. Like a fungal infection 😁
  21. Atleast he's picked our best midfield. Ayew just seems a Cooper favourite, regardless of how he plays.
  22. Patson has excellent workrate, but his finishing last season was awful. It will be good to see him back and see how he gets on. Maybe the counter attack game we play now will suit him more?
  23. The way Enzo celebrated, you know he has a real soft spot for him.
  24. Considering we had offers for him and chose not to sell, someone at the club thought he was worth persisting with. Good for him and us, could save his alot of money next season if he comes good.
