Or even us. Facundo will go back to Brighton next season, so we'll need another midfielder.

Pretty big considering they've never been whitewashed in a 3 or more home test series, in their entire history. It looks like the beginning of the end for several high profile players like Sharma and Kohli. Kohli in particular was absolutely awful all series. Ran out their best batsman in Pant, in the 2nd test, then got bowled by a full toss from a spinner. 3rd test ran himself out 5 mins before the end of the day. Australia will be his swansong. -
You know what kind of game you're going to get from him within the first few minutes. Yesterday when he missed that early chance, his head just dropped and he never got into the game.

If Soumare truly wanted to be here, he should've stayed here last season. Enzo played 2 CAMs and it would've been ideal for Soumare to try to cement himself in the team at a lower level. That would've benefited both him and us more then his loan.
-
That run was why we brought him, to pick up the ball deep and run with it. Unfortunately we've just never seen it until today. Hopefully he can make more of an impact, but realistically he's only going to get a few minutes off the bench.

Ipswich will be pretty confident. We give chances like no other team, and they just need to take them. If they don't, we've shown that we score quite freely off the few chances we create. Overall I think it'll be a draw, 2-2.

I'm not too concerned about the team, we had +60M worth of midfielders playing. It's not like we were playing all academy lads, although we should've instead of Bobby. Ward was the only one I wouldn't have played, GK should be able to play 3 games in a week. It's Cooper's set up that's the issue, even with a 1st team we're wide open at the back. The only reason we've not had more 5 goal thrashings is because of Mads.

Bobby De Cordova-Reid joins permanently - Official

TBH most only went by the over whelmingly positive things, Fulham fans said about him. In reality he's turned out to be another Bertrand, collecting his pension for the next 3yrs. Totally useless. -
The real star at Brighton is Tony Bloom and his data driven algorithm, that allows them to uncover so many hidden gems, especially from South America. Houghton got them promoted and kept them in the PL. Potter made them better football wise, and had one good season when they finished 9th. De Zerbi took them into Europe and now they're thriving under an unknown 31yr old from the German 2nd division. At Brighton managers are just another cog in the machine. They can come and go but as long as the processes behind the scenes are there, they'll do well. It's the model most club owners are striving for.

Cooper would rather stink the team out with Bobby and a couple of Palace rejects, in Edouard and Ayew, then play any of our kids. -
I was hoping he'd be there for our 2 games against them. Watch them come out and put a real show against us.

Leicester City vs Nottingham Forest Tactical Analysis
sm1 replied to StriderHiryu's topic in Leicester City Forum
Looked completely clueless in the 2nd half. They just squeezed the middle of the pitch and took the ball off us at will. Cooper's response was to throw players on and hope for the best. If we were going to resort to crosses in the box, he could've at least put Edourd on. If anything he's a big lump who could've pushed their CBs about. -
Was our esteemed owner or DoF at the game?
-
Nuno out thought Cooper and changed the team 2nd half, and that was the end for us. Forest could've scored 4-5 goals and given us a real hiding. Our defence was so nervous, literally laying chances on a plate for them.
-
Although not a fan, I can't exclusively blame Faes for the last goal. If Mads stayed in goal, he probably would've saved it. We were all over the place defensively.
-
Nice comeback after downplaying the game 😁. I'm from the south of the county, and like you, Coventry has always been the team to beat.
-
The also play some lovely attacking football. They made Man City look like a league 1 team last season.
-
Ousmane Dembele. After winning the league we desperately wanted him. Ranieri even called him up and tried to convince him to join us. Instead he chose Dortmund and went to Barcelona 1 year later for 120M.
-
I can see him going to Man City. He's very much in the David Silva/ Bernado Silva mould.
-
They've got about 8 goalkeepers.

I'd start off by saying I thought Cooper was a decent appointment, but over the subsequent months I realised he's shit. This result doesn't change my opinion at all, but reinforces it. Abdul not only destroyed Southampton last season, but he's the best RW at the club. The only person who doesn't see that is Cooper, and Abdul proved him wrong again in the 30mins he was given. What was the point of Bobby, when Southampton were down to 10 men and Mav is a better attacker then him. I like JJ but he got skinned several times in the game and has been culpable for alot of the goals we've conceded. Yet will we see Ricky play in the PL, let alone start a game, not likely. Its indicative of a poor manager when his team only plays when they're desperate, which has been the case with us 90% of this season.
