Fed up of hearing players are tired all the time.. They play football on carpets, are not allowed to be tackled any more. Teams have massive squads. Proper players used to play on bogs, twice a week and with squads of 15/16 players...with one sub allowed..

Would like a positive mindset from BR for this game.... 3-4-3 doesn’t do this as too often we have 5 defenders all pinned back and the gap between midfield and attack is too big. The stats show this , every man and his dog now knows we have created fewer chances than any team in the PL this season.. it is all too Puelesque for my liking. would like to see Under, Barnes , Maddison and Vardy on the pitch.. SU are there for the taking so a positive 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 and take the game to them. Anything less than a win is unacceptable.

Play him instead of JV then ?

Castagne, was due back after nearly a month out, Then felt the injury again in training I believe.. I wouldn’t be risking him either.. I’d take Gray before Perez... Perez does everything at his own slow pace.. What does he bring to us ? reminds me of ghezzal Doesn’t get near my squad

BR wants us to play a possession game I believe... which involves not losing the ball .. reflective in us not creating many chances through the season.. hence us not registering a shot on target until 70 mins.. We play slow possession football...on BR orders I would say..

Wouldn’t have a clue what team BR picks for this.. What is our identity as a team ? Are we a counter attackin team ? Are we possession based ? would just like an attacking team /formation that takes the game to the opponents.. Non of this recent defensive minded bollox

Evening Stan.. On the defence...with the players we had out injured , I felt it was a system that would work well for us ...BR words.. In youth....you conveniently left Mendy and Praet out..Seasoned campaigners.... As are Youri and Maddison... over 500 games between them.. Not young at all in experience terms.. Is it not BR himself that says the youngsters are progressing well (when we win) but when we lose (they are inexperienced ?) 🤷‍♂️ Evans and Youri granted have played plenty of matches.. Evans beyond daft at international level.. JV hasn’t, or Maddison..Barnes... Wolves picked the same team for 6 months last season... sun/Thursday week in week out... no cries of tiredness there... it’s all about opinions.... villa, West Ham, Fulham last night...all identical no get at em performances... The ‘ master strokes ‘ of Man City and Arsenal...we were very very fortunate not to be 1-0 down in 10 mins v arsenal..a goal that should have stood.. Man City , we could have been 2 down in half an hour... we took advantage eventually of their awful defending... it has been based on this alone that we have gone with the same formation /tactics since... 2 attack minded players on the pitch in Maddison and vardy...

We had lost last nights game as soon as the team was picked... Rodgers moans he has no defenders then picks 5 instead of 4. If ever there was a game to make the pitch bigger and stretch the game it was home v Fulham.. yet we had 3 wingers on the bench.. He says we had a young team out...we had 4 players over 30 he said we had tired players..Barnes isn’t getting tired by sitting in the bench the past two games.. when BR came to the club, his talks were refreshing and informative.. Now, it’s just the same old excuses and belief that we have played well in games when the reality is we have been abysmal.. we have the odd worldie game followed by a succession of below par, no desire slow uninspiring performances. he just can not motivate this bunch it seems.. we don’t press any more , we are happy to let the opposition have the ball and pass through us at ease.. we don’t create like we used to. we are seeing too many performances like the last 2 months of the season which let’s be honest was relegation form.. mid table finish for us this season..10/11th

But it’s ok, we have injuries...and are in CL places. Oh and qualifies for last 32 of the EL... Well done Rodgers, spot on with selection and formation...

We have no defenders...yet play 5 at the back rather than 4 😂 have 3 wingers in the 16 and start non of em... Hated this stupid formation that he swears by.. can understand it against Man City... but against Fulham, villa etc...criminal.. we deserve all we get... if it takes a Fulham hammering for him to realise then so be it.

Sigh...two attack minded players we have in that team...playing against one of the worst teams in the division... hope it works but Brendan seems to adopt this negative sit back and counter formation against every team in the league nowadays..

Was actually impressed by Villa...complete different tactics against us than they did against Liverpool.. we are just slow in our build up that gives the opposition the chance to regain their shape.. Very Puel like And no real pace in our team to cause problems.. Rodgers is somewhat fixed in his ways when it comes to signing the players... Praet, Youri, Perez all good on the ball but always at their own pace and they lack that gear to hurt teams

Had a decent opening 20 mins Where he looked lively.. very poor after that. Two particular instances were really frustrating... a blatant push in the back on konsa when konsa has nowhere to go. Followed by a real lazy offside. Our attack broke down, Villa then attacked, the passage of play was about 20seconds before we regained possession of the ball And Nacho was still offside from our previous attack..

Our squad has cost us about £300m+ Are we really punching above our weight? Or are we just buying duds to make up the squad all the time

Was always worried going into the new season after last seasons capitulation. we haven’t strengthened as much as I would have liked especially in attacking areas. would currently be happy with a mid table finish and a decent EL run. With all the injuries and the last couple of poor performances the season only seems to be going one way. We couldn’t arrest that slide last season. Hope we can this.

Becoming a liability unfortunately. he would have been asked to do one job in that 10 effort...

Our starting line up cost near on £200m so there shouldn’t be any excuses.. It ought to have been good enough to win... it was another poor performance with no creativity at all...Much like our run from Xmas/end of the season..

It’s Rodgers job to strengthen our squad so when we do miss key players, we are able to compete... he has had his transfer windows and still refuses to get a striker in... and our squad is still no stronger than when we had the collapse from Xmas onwards.. This was coming...
