Can not bring myself to post a side for next Sunday’s game v WBA. We pretty much start the season weaker than we finished the last.

So a RB that we are going to play LB is sorted... Just now for a CB AM 2 wingers and a ST... for us to have a real go at EL and PL. First game next weekend 🙈 Winger and Striker links seem to have gone quiet also..

Not sure about this one... have often thought that Ricardo could be an option at RW/M. Although he gets forward and is often the driving force of our attacking play, the two positions are very different.. he would usually link well with who ever would be in front of him and be playing 1 2s with them... Playing RW/M with a LB to get by from say a standing start at times does not suit some players.. Would be interest to see if he is a natural in this position or not...

We ain’t sign this lad...just my opinion... too much money

Depends whether we buy for the sake of buying or actually buy better than we have..which we ought to be doing...

Chilwell and Barnes didn’t link well that for sure.. always looked disjointed as a pair.. quakity players are harder to get correct...there price also goes up the closer to deadline as clubs will know we are desperate for players.. and even should we sign 2/3 players over the next month... when will they actually settle into the club/positions ? 10/15 games in , rather than preseason early on which non of these signings will get now..

Wasn’t knocking the fact we paid the staff... was lcfc all over the fact we did during tough times...Credit to Top... 1 abysmal loan signing in 12 months and No activity less than 2 weeks before a new season would suggest we don’t have the money..

Atalanta play a similar style to us ??? Really... they play attacking free flowing football with plenty of movement... Interchanging of positions.. We like to go sideways...don’t we ?

I reckon we sign him then start Fuchs....😂😂 then play him on a Thursday night here there and everywhere when no one really cares about the Europa league

Praet has played DM CM yet is judged as an AM in some quarters... I liked praet initially but do wonder what he does well and offers. Rodgers has toyed with formations (diamond was a disaster) toyed with players out of position with little success... just buy players for the position..

But has been playing LM/RM /Bench for the last 2 years

Just buy a left sided player FFs...not bits and pieces.... We spent £30m on Perez, play him out of position Praet is the same in midfield for £20m

If we had any real faith in Thomas and he would have been in our plans, we would have let Fuchs go..Thomas will go out on loan goal a year at least. Thomas did well when put in at the deep end but also cost us in some situations.. I think many of us forget this with him being home grown.. And us wanting to unearth another gem..

So, we are signing ourselves a left or right midfielder ? Another Marc Albrighton.....

Let’s be honest, although some of our squad players may have played no part in the past couple of years... we have to keep hold of them just for numbers.. there will not be anyone coming in in some positions...

I think we buy a LB and that’s the business pretty much done due to financial issues it seems.. Far from ideal with what is going to be one busy season.. it is what it is though I am afraid.. To think in the past 12 months, the only player we have signed is Ryan Bennett...

We don’t finish a season and then think, who are we gonna sign.. they would have potential names after last summers window, and again after the winter window. And EL to hopefully attract players also... Or maybe we don’t have potential names etc... I just think we are skint and bar maybe a LB, we are going to have to struggle on with what we have..

Our form against the lesser teams from Xmas onwards was pretty horrific...with or without a full side... don’t take anything for granted...WBA fresh teams always are up for the occasion early on... and Burnley... They are certainly no push overs

Exactly... And whilst I can maybe understand having to wait until Chilwell is sold to reinvest the money... Our lack of an incoming CB does worry me
