BR wanted 5 in.... that hasn’t happened due to money not being available.. being in Europe , surely we needed a bigger and better squad. im still not sure we are strong enough to cope in PL and EL. Especially with injuries already taking their toll

Some realism will come from today’s game.. it was much the same form as our run in last season.. 9/10th place this season will be about us.. meet will be fantastic in some games, and dreadful in others. Especially with the business not being as fruitful as we may have thought.

Thought Mendy was our best player today. Broke the play up well and worked extremely hard.. The only real positive from an awful performance that stood alongside our run in last season.. That said, a 5ft 11 converted winger bullies our 3 6ft+ CBs...we didn’t win a header all day.. Shite from first minute to the last.. Credit to West Ham, they outworked ya all over the park..

Vardy won’t play Thurs/Sun Maddison likewise.. just back from long term injury himself.. A full strength back 4 is even more unlikely as if we get anymore injuries, we are fooked.. Castagne popped his shoulder Sunday... ok , they sorted it but there is obviously weakness there

What do you see as our typical EL lineup ?

Wolves took it seriously last season and just ran out of puff at the end. Not many English teams will play their Full blooded first 11... Especially in the opening rounds. Can you see Vardy playing Thurs/Sunday every week ?

No way are we taking EL seriously.. The squad is thin on quality so expect a similar looking team that we saw tonight with the odd splattering of Soyuncu , Youri and Barnes. Sad times..

With a bare squad, we won’t be taking the EL seriously so don’t imagine Wilf would have played anyway

We must have been loosely linked with about 50 players over the summer.. LCFC ought to have a list for the Jan window, that then gets put into action in the summer window. It has been a shambles... First game is 3 days away and we have a CM filling in at CB, Then a CM that it looked like we were getting rid of starting in his place.. mid we don’t pick up 7 points from the first 4 games, we are in a relegation battle for sure..

🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ The first 3 games as you put it, I would say we need a minimum of 4/9 Pts.... let’s be honest though, we haven’t much to be excited about at present.. EL we should be, but Rodgers will put pay to that with weakened sides.. A team that next Sunday could have Fuchs, Morgan, Albrighton in it... more like a friendly line up

Plus it’s a game that Rodgers will not want to lose and will settle for a draw..So expect the Ndidi/Mendy partnership which as we know blunts any effectiveness /creativity we have going forward..
