The drop in global greenhouse gas emissions in 2020-21 shows what their main source is Temperatures have varied a lot over a time scale of thousands of years. The difference now is the speed of increase in the last 200 years

TV punditry, World Cup next year

I agree with your statements and your ideal team. Perhaps the model to follow is that of Sunderland (without the relegation to League 1!). They brought through young players while challenging for promotion to the PL. They had to sell a couple to balance the books but are now seeing the reward. Easier said than done of course.

It began in the 60s when some blokes used to sing it in a pub before the game, and then started to sing it in the ground. I think I read that in the 5000-1 book from 2016.

Daka's lack of improvement in 4 years also reflects very badly on the coaches and managers who've been at the club in that time
-
I hope I´m wrong but perhaps we are skint and had no budget to pay for Kone or anyone else, so we just signed loan players.

His right foot is fine so he should go down the outside occasionally

Wout Faes (Besiktas interest, Fabrizio Romano)

I've not heard anything, just the sound of silence -
Perhaps the only good thing about Hamilton is that he signed Steve Walsh
-
Just checked, Bright signed in 84 and Sealey in 85.
-
I'd forgotten about Moran. Alan Smith had signed for Arsenal and stayed til the end of the season, but perhaps mentally he was already at Highbury
-
To be fair to Hamilton we´d sold Gary Lineker the previous summer for 800,000 (but we replaced him with Tony Sealy for 50,000)

For me (born in 1966) it´s probably Bryan Hamilton (1986-7). He inherited a decent team from Gordon Milne and took us down to the then Division 2 and had us in the relegation zone there the following season until he was replaced in December by David Pleat. McClintock was our 2nd worse manager. As commented before, Taylor started very well but it fell apart after the Wycombe game. Pleat was great in the first half-season but the defence became a shambles and he had to go to prevent relegation to Div 3. In a couple of those cases the fans wanted rid of the previous manager (Bloomfield before McClintock and Milne before Hamilton) even though they´d done pretty well.

How much money has King Power invested in LCFC?

Thanks to everyone who has contributed some facts here. The situation is clearer now for me. -
How much money has King Power invested in LCFC?

I suppose the money KP spent to buy the club went to the previous owner not LCFC. The net investment by KP will be less if they kept the profits (year 2014-15 etc.) -

Thanks -
I ask because I have no idea. I think they converted 100 million pounds of debt into equity (I don´t know what that means) and I assume they made net cash investments in the first few years. In the financial year 2014-15, covering our first season back in the PL, LCFC made a profit of around 25 million quid, which presumably went to King Power. Since then things have been a bit up and down, in various ways. What are the facts?

So how are we all feeling now the window has closed.

Perhaps Faes and Kristiansen will knuckle down to try and ensure they go to the World Cup next year -
Your second XI is a decent team at this level, except for Daka. We have depth in the squad but I'm not sure we have sufficient quality to go up
-
Horsfield looks a bit miffed because they gave him a child-size shirt
-
Hopefully Kristiansen, like Faes and Vesty, will do well at this level.

The Brentford game, when he managed to play a whole half before getting hooked (most of the crowd had left before that) -
If a player says he doesn´t want to play (or train), does he get fined that week´s wages?
