  1. I love the bloke and he’ll be welcome back to the KP regardless in the future as a hero and legend. But the more I think about it I can’t help but feel him going to another PL / EFL team now would put a bit of a blemish on his legacy here. Which would be a shame after everything. Particularly as I’m sure he’ll be receiving significant offers from abroad. Go and enjoy living in the USA for a year or two or go and earn a kings ransom in Saudi Arabia.
  2. Wow, the state of me. I’ll be absolutely gutted if he plays for another English club now though.
  3. Absolutely shocking from the linesman. Same linesman that tried to give them a throw and had to be overruled by his ref a few minutes before as well.
  4. Even if we all boycott (which we should), the trouble is the returned tickets will likely be snapped up by tourists that want to attend a Manchester United game. I suspect Jim Radcliffe and his minions are counting on it.
  5. You’re definitely on to something with this. I found employment prospects are generally poorer in the East Midlands compared to other regions and big cities. Being bang in the middle of the country also allows us to move to a huge amount of the country and still be close enough to get back regularly.
  6. Leeds for me. It’s a long (and expensive) day and I’d be lying if I said there haven’t been times this season I’ve questioned why I do it. I find myself disillusioned with modern football rather than just LCFC. But the things we do for our football clubs…
  7. I was thinking about this as it's only about 30 miles away from me, but there's no way I'm paying those prices. Disgusting.
  8. Championship mid table obscurity it is for a while then. I hope Top is watching. He’s overseen one hell of a demise through inaction and incompetence.
  9. This Manchester United side really are abysmal.
  10. We could have done with O’Neil staying in the job until next week. He’ll be gone now. Apparently Ole was there today so you can just imagine the media love in of OGS V RVN
  11. If you decide not to travel due to a cancellation you should never have an admin fee deducted. If that ever happens I’d definitely challenge it as it shouldn’t be happening. As you say though there’s nothing you can do against the loss for the match ticket unfortunately.
  12. The blatant cheating from Arsenal all through the second half was hard to stomach. Going down with cramp at every opportunity. Had another couple of yellows for kicking the ball away too. Even though no doubt we’d want us to do it if it was us, but still. Made the equaliser all that more enjoyable.
  13. The fact that there are still 6 teams without a win after 5 games (a premier league record according to Sky) should show how the quality at the bottom really isn’t that great.
  14. Just not when it comes to match day ticket prices 👀
  15. Wow. I’m genuinely astonished at the match by match ticket price increases. The fact that the club in their press release have attempted to justify the pricing by claiming we’re ‘10th and 9th in the league on cheapest / most expensive ticket’ is abhorrent and shows how out of touch they are. Particularly given it fails to take into consideration 7 of the 20 clubs are London based, where you’d expect ticket prices to be more expensive given the London weighting of wages. As a long term member in the privileged position to be able to afford these ticket prices, even I’m taken aback and find myself wondering if it’s worth it any longer. Shocking.
  16. David Moyes would be my choice. Yes, it's not a glamourous appointment but he's out of a job so no compensation to pay and is a proven top manager at this level. I honestly think he'd give us the best chance of staying in the league which is all we need to be concentrating on next year.
  17. There was one in Playa Blanca in Lanzarote that was owned by Leicester fans. Not sure if it still is though - I was there for the ‘Deeney game’. It still gives me shudders thinking of that game, even after all we’ve gone on to achieve 🤣
  18. I’m probably in a tiny minority that has accumulated enough points to be eligible for a season ticket but doesn’t want one. I enjoy the flexibility of match by match tickets (usually get to 7 or 8 games a year) due to living away from Leicester. I’ve experienced a few membership schemes over the years and I have to say the current points system is by far the fairest way to do it. I actually think it’s a good system. As people have highlighted, membership + regular attendance for a few years = very likely to be eligible for a season ticket. Less than that needed if we’re not in the premier league. It also rewards consistent attendance. Eg it rewards those that renew their membership and continue to attend games over a longer period and avoids people buying a gold membership just when we’re doing well as has happened in the past. It seems fair to me.
  19. All I’ll say is that if this was to ever happen it would be the day I walk away from top tier football, and unfortunately, the football club I love. Which would save me a small fortune in fairness.
  20. It’s £1.50 delivery when you order 1. I’ve ordered 2 and the delivery was £4.95. So basically you’re better off ordering separately if you want 2 copies.
  21. Sevilla and probably by some distance for me. Under the lights, the game had absolutely everything and was followed by the realisation we were in the quarter finals of the champions league. I’ll never forget it. The Manchester United 5-3 game was great too though. Vardy’s first impact on the premier league too.
  22. As soon as possible for me. I’ll never understand how winning promotion when we’re playing somehow makes it more special. I’d rather go to Preston with premier league status secured and fighting for a bonus trophy. But that’s just me.
  23. The Everton game was a disgrace in my view because of the sheer volume that ‘disappeared’. Couple that with a membership scheme that was linked to the money you paid for the membership, rather than a loyalty system. This time round, anyone with at least 15 points was able to purchase a ticket. That seems entirely reasonable to me. I get that new members that might have attended 14 games would feel hard done by, but there has to be a cut off somewhere. Those that have only had a membership since last summer does not seem an unreasonable cut off. Someone that has had a membership for a minimum of 2 years and has attended a minimum of 5 games in that time has been given the opportunity to purchase a ticket. Not everyone can attend every week, so I’d much rather a membership scheme that rewards longevity and average support over someone that buys a membership and can attend every game in a season. If someone keeps attending every game for several seasons they’ll soon find themselves in the top loyalty bracket and even eligible for a season ticket.
  24. It can be hard enough finding one after a win at times.
