Is this still going ? 1. We haven't been battered (Yet) 2. We've lost to Fulham, Villa & Arsenal all of which will be Top Half Teams tbf. 3. Yep his Team choices are a bit frustrating but as I've said 'We don't know what's going on behind the scenes' 4. We all want decent football however, If we are drawing with decent Teams and Winning I'm happy. 5. Ayew is there for a reason. Yesterday, apart from the first 20 minutes he got an 8 in the player ratings. 6. SC's remit is to keep us in the Division. How he does it, is his job. Give the Guy a Break, when Christmas comes and he's still here, it will be because he's doing job. If he's gone, then he's failed, either way I'm still still supporting the Team he puts out from afar nowadays.

He still ours, if the season goes as predicted we'll need him next season. If not he's getting valuable game time to improve tbf

Walsall 3rd in League Two They've won 5 of their 7 games. They're no mugs. We were their League Cup Final at their Place. Their First Team nearly beat our Subs apart from Ward that is. Don't get me wrong it wasn't pretty, But the Team that plays against Arsenal got a rest and it showed us we don't have the strength in depth that other Premiership Teams will have. It's not Coopers fault he's been dealt a poor hand, at least he had the balls to sit at the table and is prepared to play on. Our Last Forest Manager before Megson only Won 3 of his first 16 games which led to Crowd Demonstrations after Sheff Utd beat us. Like I've said before, we haven't taken a hammering (Yet) get real people, the Guy along with the Team needs help and our support and he'll have mine until the inevitable happens.

All this Doom and Gloom. Don't get me wrong I'm not Happy But: We don't know what's going on behind the scenes, we don't know fitness levels and we don't know what SC is having to deal with on & off the pitch. As I see it we haven't taken a hammering, so I'm going to support the Team & SC until the inevitable happens. Ps: It must be hard to know that the Fans don't want you and you're playing with a poor hand of cards. Bring on Arsenal

A If we win there will still be people calling for Cooper to be sacked. B If we draw see A C If we lose see B

Palace vs Leicester - Pre match thread (14th September 3pm)
Chico1958 replied to FoxinNotts's topic in Leicester City Forum
It'll be Nketiah's first game for Palace and he'll have a point to prove. As for everyone picking the Team, I'll leave that SC. I'm sure he'll see the next 7 games as his time to get us started on the road to Premiership Survival. I'll just wait and see where we are by the time we meet Ipswich Nov 2nd Hopefully the No Points Deduction News will give us a boost. -
3 games in, 1 point, overall assessment …

I feel for Steve Cooper, He's come to a Club where the Fans were against his employment from the start, with a Mediocre Team with low budget additions. His Team Selection has been poor at times but we don't know what's been going on behind the scenes. Wout Faes coming out and saying he's unhappy, perhaps Ricardo feels or has said the same. I agree with the 3 DMs was baffling on Saturday, although we are not privy to fitness levels either. In glimpses we've looked good in particular when Mavididi has come on. So for me I'll give Cooper some slack until we start playing Teams that we should be on par with Palace Everton Bournemouth Southampton Forest Ipswich. -
I remember reading similar comments when played Plymouth and few others last season. Maresca Style & Subs. I get it that Coopers not everyone's cup of tea but at least he was up for the challenge. There wasn't que around the block when it came to applicants. Give the Guy a Break and remember we're now playing Premiership teams with one arm tied behind our back. Not Plymouth and the likes. Let him learn from his mistakes

Leicester v Villa Match Thread 31/8/2024
Chico1958 replied to ozleicester's topic in Leicester City Forum
We don't see the boys in training so we don't know the fitness levels. Although I agree with some of the negative comments. If they're wearing the shirt they're still the Team I support. -
Anyone willing to join the 'Fight' is good by me. No doubt about it, we've lost players in this window because of the points deduction threat. It's just a pity Cannons not getting a chance to prove himself.

OK Let's put this right. Jakub Stolarczyk - Injured and out for a Minimum - 6 Months Daniel Iversen - Likely to be Sold - Derby - So he won't get much game time ( Just in case of Injury ) Mads Hermansen - Could be Sold - Chelsea Danny Ward - Still has One Year Left on his Contract. Likely to be 2nd Choice if Mads Stays This All Boils Down to Chelsea coming back for Hermansen - Keep Your Finger Crossed Chaps. On the Plus Side Chelsea are close to agreeing a deal for Villareal Goalkeeper Filip Jorgenson .
-
If he goes to Chelsea, he will be going as competition to Sanchez who cost £25 Million and is on a 7 Yr Contract. If they're prepared to pay £45 Million and we may be going away from the Sweeper Keeper System. Why not test out Crystal Palaces resolve on Sam Johnston or Dean Henderson. ( Who Played for Cooper at Forest )
-
Spider wins hands down.
-
Wilf Ndidi with a bit of Luck of course.
-
Sorry, I'd to forgotten Megson oops
-
If he's half as good as Two we've had with ties to Forest then I'll be happy with a League Cup or Two and good football to watch. I'm prepared to wait and see if he can cope with the hostility, either way I'll continue to support the Team. Best of Luck Mr Cooper 🦊
-
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was poor at Cardiff ( I know cos I was there ) but had a win rate at Manchester of 54% only beat by Jose. So it might be worth a punt but I still think it'll be Cooper or Corberan. if we can afford WBAs compensation. of course.

Great News. Just Hope - He's taken a pay cut

Interesting Peice on Sarri at Chelsea

Just for what he did in One Season - Kante

Thanks for the post, Although I'm just reporting what I had read, hopefully you're right PS: Let's hope Our New Guy has a fighting chance.

But, in a fresh development, the Telegraph has revealed that Leicester are in line for a punishment that could even exceed the Toffees, as they have claimed they are in line for ‘anything between six and 15 points’ to be taken.
-
More Deflated that we may get 15 points deducted to be honest. As for Enzo, I hope he gets what he deserves at Chelsea (if he goes) We will need our own Sean Dyche and patience next season and do it on a tight budget.
