  1. Think Hlozek can play as striker as well though which is where he may primarily feature.
  2. I like Vestergaard. Don't get me wrong, there's much better rounded CB's out there but he actually looks more composed than Faes. I certainly feel more comfortable with him on the ball than I do Faes. I really worry about our LB position currently though. Kristiansen does not fill me with any confidence.
  3. Get Hlozek & Zaha in and things start to look much better. I'd still expect defeat against Spurs, but they would be 2 great additions for where we are and what we need to achieve.
  4. If that's the cost for a year, it shows just how hopeful the club are that he will be the difference to staying up or not, which, I'm inclined to agree with. Survive, and it will be great business, still get relegated and its just a plunge further into financial abyss. It would be a gamble, but a decent one.
  5. Some standards are lower than snakes b0llocks in there.
  6. "Talks still on going on player side" Is the worrying part. A number of premier league clubs are rumoured to be interested and there's no way we will be the most attractive choice. I guess his club will probably have more of a say than him, but still, any kick back from the player will hinder negotiations. Hopefully he doesn't come for a browse on here.
  7. Absolutely yes please! Decent player, seems to play up top & Winger. Scored In their friendly against Arsenal a couple of days ago too!
  8. Video proof else it didn't happen.
  9. Shame she's not Thai, she could have been on the pitch for the trophy lift.
  10. There's always games that you go in to fearing the worst but I don't think I've felt this worried about a game for a long time. Tottenham are a very good team, with multiple threats. We don't have a single threat, and our defence is a complete mess. Tottenham will be well up for this and our players will trot out already half beaten. There's going to be some absolute thumpings this season. Anything less than 5 for Tottenham and il come away relieved.
  11. Have to agree. Only 35 years old and already has assistant manager at Bayern Munich & German national team on his CV. I'm sure Sheffield Wednesday will be a stepping stone for him but they've definitely got a good asset for now.
  12. I think Rooney needs to take some advice off of Neville and leave management to the professionals. Absolute cracking player but his management is like a curse whatever club he goes to.
  13. So are we thinking this guy would benefit from a strike partner? Is he more of a hold up & knock on merchant?
  14. There is no doubt Cooper had a tough task ahead of him but he seems to be making things much harder for himself. There's probably a reason the powers that be didn't want any matches played at the KP until they really had to.
  15. 2 - Both own goals from Cluster Faes
  16. I agree with others, the players have just spent the best part of 50 games (Inc cup & friendlies) and have trained almost every day, to integrate a certain style of play. Even the best managers wouldn't be able to change that and get a squad playing a new style of football in so few games. If good managers would struggle to do it, we've no hope with Cooper.
  17. There's something likeable about Cooper and I was quite glad when he was appointed. He might not have been the most 'exciting' manager to recruit but it just seemed like he was going to take things back to basics and grind out results. The reality is, he's over complicated everything. Players out of positions, good players left out etc. I agree with others, he looks completely broken already which Is worrying. Who's going to want to take on this club, midway through the season and already destined for relegation. Worrying times ahead.
  18. This is like De Ja Vu. It's a valid topic, but one that's been discussed so much I've got little energy, personally, to discuss further. A bit like the ticketing system.
  19. He'll survive because expectations are so low.
  20. Yeah sorry. Obviously didn't mean it literally.. but none the less, an immature, daft and nasty comment to make. I do apologise.
  21. Relegate us now please.
  22. Sometimes you've just got to get yourself in the right places and he seems to do that. Who knows how he will truly do. Perhaps some of it is desperation that people want to see anyone other than Daka up top.
  23. People going on about the age of this guy when we've just signed a 31 year old Fulham pensioner (who'll bring fvck all to the team) and are allegedly in the market for 31 year old Zaha, we've got a thread for 32 year old Ayew and our hope for any goals this season are pinned on an injured 37 year old Jamie Vardy. Age clearly isn't an issue, at least this guys proven to find the net, but we'll be fine a week on Monday with Patson Daka up top.
