  1. Scheffler with a kick-in birdie on his first hole of the day. Nothing seems to phase him.
  2. https://www.espn.co.uk/golf/story/_/id/40162983/scottie-scheffler-detained-police-prior-start-pga-championship World No. 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler was detained by Louisville Metro Police Department on Friday morning while trying to drive into the entrance of Valhalla Golf Club, the site of this week's PGA Championship. Traffic outside the golf course had been stopped after a man was struck and killed by a shuttle bus around 5 a.m. ET. According to ESPN reporter Jeff Darlington, who witnessed the incident, Scheffler was trying to drive around the crash scene on a median. A police officer instructed Scheffler to stop, but he continued to drive about 10 to 20 yards toward the entrance. At one point, an officer attached himself to the side of Scheffler's car. Scheffler stopped his car as he turned into the entrance of Valhalla Golf Club. After about 20 to 30 seconds, Scheffler rolled down his window to talk to the officer. The officer grabbed Scheffler's arm to pull him out of the vehicle, according to Darlington. The officer reached inside the vehicle to open the door, and once Scheffler was pulled out, he was pushed against the car and placed in handcuffs. Darlington was standing at the entrance when Scheffler was detained. Darlington said Scheffler turned to him and asked, "Can you help?" According to Darlington, an officer instructed him to back away. "You need to get out of the way," the officer told Darlington. "There's nothing you can do. Scottie Scheffler is going to jail."
  3. Sorry to hear that Dene O'Kane has passed away after a fall at his home in New Zealand.
  4. Our FA Cup win was before the Euros wasn't it?
  5. Do Sky really have to inflict this Man Utd side upon us again?
  6. I'm ok with it so long as it's only one year. It's not like we are in a position to splash the cash for someone better. I do think we concede around 60-70 goals next season with this defense though.
  7. Maddison with the lazy pass that gave Man City possession for the goal.
  8. What makes you think they know each other? Different age groups from different cities in Ghana, 400 miles apart, with different religions, cultures and languages. They've more than likely never even heard of each other.
  9. Sky are going to have to show Deeney Day for the 3,759,827th time to wake everyone up now.
  10. Ooops. Clanger from the Spurs goalie makes it 3-0.
  11. Have Man Utd ever been 7/1 to win at Old Trafford before?
  12. That's an absolute belter of a goal by Ella Toone.
  13. More pundits in the studio than there were chances in the game.
  14. Midday Sunday kick off, 1st leg, warm day. All the ingredients for cagey, walking football.
  15. I really don't think there's much that can be done until it is known what the club are up against in regards to next season's points deduction. Players aren't going to want to commit until then.
  16. Even Engelbert did better than the utter plum we sent this year
  17. 13-0 win for Chelsea later and it's still all to play for.
  18. Is this the kiss of death for WBA? https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/fancy-west-brom-nick-promotion-29151144 “The best team of the four in the play-offs is West Brom," says Lawrenson. "They went to Leicester and absolutely mullered them so I'm going for a real outsider and I think West Brom might nick it [promotion].
  19. We really need to know what the points deduction will be fairly soon, so we can prepare properly for next season. Will any player want to sign for us if they don't know the size of the mountain they will have to climb next season?
  20. He's the only 1st team squad member I couldn't see in any of the photos. Even Danny Ward, Harry Souttar and Dennis Praet were there. Maybe they thought his behaviour at the trophy parade boorish and didn't invite him?
  21. https://www.lcfc.com/news/4001179/aileen-whelan-announces-retirement LCFC Women captain Aileen Whelan will retire from professional football at the end of the 2023/24 Barclays Women’s Super League season after successful career spanning over a decade.
  22. Yeah, and I've seen Ramsdale make way worse gaffes than that.
