  1. Made a point a few weeks ago that it would be tough to convince good players to join until we know what we are up against in terms of the points deduction. Now the same applies with a new manager too. The PL really do have us by the balls. It's going to have to be someone who doesn't mind the potential risk of having a relegation on their CV - and that probably rules out the possibility of an established name.
  2. Well, we do have a few donkeys.
  3. It won't be Pep unfortunately. But it will be one of his clone army.
  4. It'll be someone very similar to Enzo. There's hundreds of them milling about in the game. No need to panic.
  5. Sunak can pretty much say/promise anything now. He knows he's going to get trounced, so won't have to follow through with any of it.
  6. Basically you ain't worth a sh*t as a manager these days unless you look like a thumb that's had a beardy face drawn on with a biro.
  7. For his next trick, Brendan will shoot some fish in a barrel.
  8. Enzo should be able to guide them to glory in that, no problem.
  9. No offence but that might be his level now.
  10. Just goes to show what little Pep thinks of Grealish that he hasn't even been considered.
  11. I'm readying myself for Scott Parker and his Safari suit...
  12. Someone for Rudkin to confess all his sins to.
  13. What about this guy? Filipe Celikkaya. Worked under Amorim at Sporting. Was in charge of their B side where he helped develop Fatawu. Now wants to be a no.1. Probably be dirt cheap too. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/13140221/filipe-celikkaya-interview-ruben-amorim-will-succeed-anywhere-says-sporting-b-coach-now-striking-out-on-his-own
  14. https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/leicester-city-not-sign-ademola-8063986 Brendan Rodgers said after City’s first game of the season at home to Brentford, for which Barnes was injured: “I would have loved to have signed Ademola who was great here last season and got over 10 goals and assists. But we weren’t able to do that.” Asked last autumn if City would have been able to sign Lookman after the sale of Wesley Fofana, had he not already moved to Italy, the manager said: “We could never guarantee that. I think if we were getting in anyone it was only on loan, and then it didn’t happen. Unfortunately it was a deal we couldn’t do.”
  15. 1) LuLu 2) Jamie Theakston 3) Dave Benson-Phillips 4) Anne Widdecombe
  16. Kept Cagliari up this season and their top goalscorer netted just 5 goals. The man is a managerial genius.
  17. It's not like we've been a much better run club the last few years. I could see Enzo being tempted if Chelsea make an approach.
  18. Maddison will only play, at best, a handful of minutes at the Euros, unless the 4/5 better players that are ahead of him in the pecking order eat a dodgy lasagne and are struck down with the two-bob-bits.
  19. Probably not the best ever first goal. But still good, and at the Kop end, and to beat Derby...
  20. Was pretty obvious about 6 months ago that the club were trying to avoid triggering the obligation-to-buy clause.
  21. The most ironically funny ad on TV at the moment is the Hellmann's one with Grealish leaning over a garden fence telling someone to "raise your game".
  22. Forget Reddit and Joe Rogan. This is the boxing debate to end all boxing debates...
  23. F1 grand prix was crap. Final day of the PL was crap. So I'm hoping for a 6-way playoff in this to at least give some drama to the day.
  24. Equalled that Derby team's PL record worst goal difference of -69.
  25. And yet we still won't win because Mr Bean is managing them.
