Intrigued me how effectively we'd managed to adjust our positioning to fully counter their build up. The main escape was then either a girl long ball or an intricate pass to curve into the path of the winger which they managed once.

Unsure how exactly we lined up yesterday, but in the first half especially, our pressing triggers were different to usual. Mavididi and Kasey led a lot of the press, before Cannon and KDH supported. Usually this is the other way round. JJ and Hamza seemed to rotate the inverted role, but both spent large amounts of time in the "pocket" between LB/LM or RB/RM, almost baiting their keeper to go long at times. Tactically we almost wanted them to either go long down the wings, knowing we had the pace to out do them, or force them through the middle, with them lacking a few there. We seemed to make their build up from the fullbacks as difficult as possible, knowing how effective Leif Davis has been for them.

Thought he'd had circles ran round him when I saw the small, nippy winger being marked by him. Minus a few occasions where JJ ran back to cover, he absolutely marshalled the player

I think he's a player in the right environment, I'm unsure this will be it.

Gets into brilliant positions, brilliantly controls the ball. It's just the next bit, he seemed a bit lost with what to do apart from cut inside.

The vast majority of us feel we lost control of the game after their subs/our subs. Considering it felt like they had large amounts of possession and numerous opportunities, they had 3 shots on target altogether, caught out again by a deflected shot.

Admittedly we see only the big things going for them; but you're right, they've avoided numerous penalties against them, numerous sending offs or second bookings and then a handful of massively deflected shots going in.

Couple of times the ball has looked to be going out, their winger has kept it in and he's been ball watching.

The inability to hold onto leads is beginning to properly hit us. Luck isn't with us currently; their keeper has made 3 brilliant saves. On another day one of those or the other half chances go in and the official sends off their bloke.

If anyone in Prem or Champ were interested, they'd have moved for him by now. His disaster show last season has to have put huge numbers off

Wouldn't limit that to football clubs. Every company going does the exact same, squeeze as much out of existing employees as possible or simply use interns, work experience or grads
