  1. Financial creep from the top of the Prem has really hit home in the lower leagues. The financial restrictions in place do nothing to curb that, nothing will change as those in power seem absolutely clueless
  2. I'm torn. Football has been crap, regime is crap. But, my folks will still go, and seeing them enjoy going and sharing the time together is something I really treasure.
  3. Appreciate the thought mate, we're after a couple bed house over in the west mids currently
  4. Arsenal just weren't very good, offered very little. Really missed Eze and Odegaard
  5. https://x.com/i/status/2034887131538043310 Another club, another loss. Oxford with 16m loss, and this doesn't include the 10m spent searching for a new ground
  6. All clubs having skeletons doesn't suddenly make one set being found not punishable however. The main issue here is the lack of punishment Chelsea have faced.
  7. Yeah you're right, just seems that a mixture of both would provide longer last protection to the area
  8. The meningitis outbreak is pretty concerning down in Kent. Response so far seems to be throwing antibiotics at people rather than offering the vaccine for free rather than just privately.
  9. Schmeichel potentially having to retire, looks like he's seriously messed up his arm
  10. ****ing hell. We see huge anger from African players/pundits that the AFCON isn't held in the same tiers as Euros etc, and then shit like this happens.
  11. For once, this is really good piece. The section on Chelsea having the same mitigating circumstances applied 3 times to reduces 3 different punishments is hilarious. How it's been deemed that £50m worth of secret payments to players/agents etc etc isn't for competitive gain, and the fact it has been hidden for over 7 years is also laughable. "The acts of former owners" being a term used to reduce punishment as well. Laughing stock.
  12. Another article from a decent journalist regarding Prem being lackluster with any big 6 club, yet continuing to pursue us to the edge of existence
  13. As per, it's those who are bad landlords/tenants etc who then impact everyone else. It's a shame as he is a good landlord, rent is below market value and he's quick to fix issues. Rental market is looking bleak currently, with so many landlords selling up. Not currently in the circumstances to buy as well unfortunately
  14. Ah the good old Premier League. Yes different offences etc, but the consistency in punishment disappears again
  15. Nah only one is allowed on the edge of the technical area at a time, if you look during set pieces he's the only one there.
  16. To be fair, we have scored set pieces in our last few games (Boro, Ipswich, Bristol city)
  17. Dread to think how many good local people are going to lose their job because of those ****wits.
  18. Seems there is actually racing craft involved with overtakes this year, when and where to use power etc rather than solely relying on DRS
  19. Power unit issues on both, but both different issues
  20. I imagine this is order how the race finishes for the top 4
  21. And the continued fairly tale rhetoric. It was one, until last year or so when they started pumping in serious money. Biggest spenders in the champ this season. Chunks of the club sold to American investment bankers.
  22. Fairly classic F1 this, few years of one team dominance and by the end of the period we have a big competition and interesting clashes.
  23. Weird rumour doing the rounds on twitter that Owen Farrell can qualify for Ireland in a years time and may do so
  24. Sounds promising really
