I think they have sadly all gone! Friar Tuck is a "super Market", Robin Hood a "Shisa Bar",Cricketers is offices,Foresters i think is still going as a music venue,North Bridge has been boarded up for years with pictures of a Council candidate who probably isn't with us any more(used to sit behind him in the Kop and didn't look well then)Duke of Cumberland was where the storage place is now,Sanvey Gate Tavern turned into a "Knocking shop"...now flats......not sure about The Joiners......But yes i was brought up on Frog Island and the state of it now is a real shame!

@Torquay Gunner Is it still the mindset at Arsenal that we'd love to win the league,but as long as we are in the top 4 it will do as it seemed to be for Wenger?Not a critisisim at all we'd love to be in that situation!

That's right! Just coming up from Groby Road was Robin Hood,Friar tuck across the road,Cricketers,Foresters,North Bridge,Duke of Cumberland,Sanvey gate tavern,Joiners....and that was even before you got into town!

It was funny at the time @davieG! He's still alive now and in a better place! This was the 80's!

My dad used to play darts for them in the 70's! If its the pub next to the Soar?One of my school mates tried to "End it" by jumping off the bridge there....very shallow,so just ended up breaking both his legs!

Yeah...I went down last night from Amble(Northumberland)...8 hour round trip....not just to see city,but it fitted in with doing other things.....gonna concentrate on my Sea Fishing now which I love and not be so bothered about football!

Moved away last year so the decision was pretty much taken out of my hands......don't miss "the matchday experiance" at all,so many other things to do......just about finding something you actually enjoy.

I'll watch the Premier League on Thursday......... DARTS!

A good day only spoiled by the football!Went to see family,walk at Braggy,Caught up with people who i used to sit with when i had a ST,couple of pints in the Western and got back up here in 3 and a half hours.....Top Tip...for anyone driving North use the A1 instead of the M1.....none of that 50mph Stuff......Saying that after watching that shambles i'm not in any rush to go back to the KP!

I know it won't happen,but i'd love to see the attendance on a par with the Boro game when we all had to trapse through the snow! At least we had a team to support then!

Well 4 hours down here from the North East and 4 Hours back tommorow,caught up with some mates and had a wander round braggy which was great as for that performance....let's just say I won't be rushing back to the KP.

Setting out at 9 tommorow for a 4 hour drive down home....collecting a few bits from our old house and coming back on Saturday.In between i'm going for a good Bacon and Tomato Crusty Cob(can't get them up here!) A walk round Braggy and then the match.Problem is the match is the one i'm not bothered about!
