Coventry Away (13th January Saturday 3pm KO)

Surprised this went so far down, thought it would go at 560+. The away end is gonna be an army full of bingo boys on their phones recording the 'terrace scenes' then it seems - sports direct gonna sell out of trackies and face masks. -
You don't even need to create your own account guesty. Get the person buying you a ticket to create an account for you, under a name such a 'mike is a tw@t' etc etc. Very easy process. And yes the atmos thread is sh!t without you but I recall explicitly warning you that you will get banned soon.

Not the case with Liverpool. His point was there is a 'distribute' option at Liverpool whereby you can pass your ticket on to anyone should you not be able, or arsed to make it. Or have some lame excuse to leave on the 82nd minute. They have nfc ticketing, it's a tap of a button to pass your ticket on to somebody who actually wants to be at the game. The press person also said they give all the high points members a point for the low allocation away games, whether they attend or not. So people that actually want to be at games go to games, and not the situation at LCFC where people buy tickets to maintain their priority points and sell them to 22 year old drips with an iPhone. E.g v Luton away apparently they had a ballot for a ticket. But everyone on the highest bracket got an away point, whether you put in for the ballot or not. Closed shop it is not it seems.

Defo clear that it's a problem with most clubs in England, which is why the grossly exaggerated comments like 'worst club in the country clubs a shambles ticket office shambles' comments are funny. Interesting that managers and players are getting more direct/aggressive in calling it out. Imagine if Enzo told all the 82nd minute leavers to sell their ticket and not come to the match!!! There'd be a meltdown. 'shambles!!!!!!!!!!'

It's a massive dig and justifiably so.

The pommelers rest is a 'wall pub I think. Market porter if you've not got colours on should be fine. Has anyone ever been into any of the notorious millwall pubs on Southwark Park Road or leading to the den? Would love to see what they're actually like on matchday nowadays.

Your problem is in the first line, the BBC is unbelievably basic. The people they hire are either out for a laugh or are fresh out of school. Cannot rely on them for any meaningful analysis.
-
Good point. But realistically Boxing Day, jan 13 and jan 22 are our only meaningful games left this season. Need the best team, fresh and raring to go, to play those games. For professional integrity, attempting to be the best team in champo history and justify building a squad
-
Has to be changes for this. Got more than enough in the squad to deal with Rotherham at home, then go full fire for Ipswich on Boxing Day. Would be madness to keep a similar lineup. Got the squad, use it

Malaga is surprisingly v cool. Went there for 3 days last year on a last min deal that was cheaper than our normal life. Picasso exhibition, cathedral, roman theatre, el pimpi restaurant were good. Day trip to Gibraltar to watch the dolphins. Day trip to Seville also possible but did not have time for that. The hotel resort villages around there are horrendously boring, avoid, not worth the time

Yeh agree with the commercialisation point. So many people dive head first into the debt laden commercial aspect of Xmas, valentines day, anniversaries, birthdays etc etc. Then start whinging when we get treated like market-driven commercial commodities in every aspect of life.

Hahaha if you decide to go to Amsterdam on the weekend pre Xmas you can’t expect anything less than the dregs of British society. But yeh point taken, the tutting and exhaling isn’t needed, you’re all getting on the plane.

The bookies always win. Always

The wording is - cleaned to a professional standard, not a professional clean upon end of tenancy. Don’t say you cleaned it, maintain the line that you left the property to a professionally cleaned standard, have date stamped evidence to prove this, and if they disagree you want to see date stamped evidence to prove you wrong. Whatever the inventory says is useless.
-
Wtf exactly do they want to see? Have you got a professional cleaning invoice? Was the property left at the same standard as the opening inventory (taking into account wear and tear which should be a provision on your ast) with pictorial evidence? If yes and yes, tell them to politely F off

Good point. But even if not local, if you’ve got a good book of local tradesman, you don’t need a manager. They take a cut on all the tradesmen they use. Marketing and rent collection can be done with a rent collection only contract right? Anyway talking specifics now, main point being these managers are often non value add

Coventry Away (13th January Saturday 3pm KO)
grobyfox1990 replied to dnewty's topic in Ticket News and Travel
Because that is for a home fan, not an away fan. Away fans have extra time and financial costs to meet, hence campaigns to bring down the cost for away fans to encourage their support and attendance. Home and away fans quite clearly cannot be treated the same. Before the 'ticket office shambles' brigade pile in, I am not defending the matchday prices at the KP, they cannot be compared to away match prices -
That is my point. I read a badly and dangerously misinformed post on here (could not see the username) saying it's landlords unscrupulously scalping money from renters by keeping some of the deposit. That may be the case some of the time, but most certainly not all of the time, it will be the managers trying to line their own pockets. Managing the scumbag property manager is more work than actually managing the property yourself.
-
Mate, go for them full barrel if they have the cheek. Copy in citizens advice, ombudsman, housing advice, your mp, housing dept and its minister. Too many of these rats treat tenants like pushover kids to line their own pockets, whilst also giving landlords a bad name
