There does seem to be a lot of over-priced tech stocks. There was a small correction last week (probably due to comments from Trump and Biden) but they seem to be picking up again.

The one that gets me is the AeroPeru one where a maintenance worker left some sticky tape over a static pitot-tube. The subsequent confusing and conflicting air-speed and altitude readings, coupled with the fact it was a night-time flight, was enough to bring the plane down. They were getting over-speed and stall warnings at the same time.

If I remember correctly, the inexperienced pilot of the 2 that were in the cockpit before the captain eventually arrived was holding the nose up as an instinctive reaction to the plane seemingly dropping at an alarming rate. They failed to recognise the stall until it was way too late

Watched most of the 2nd game at the weekend, really good game, finishing on a rare 2-3 double play to clinch the game for the Mets. I have a soft spot for the Mets as well, was gutted when they lost the Subway series to the hated Yankees back in 2000 I think. Lived in Toronto for a couple of years a while back and absolutely loved going to watch the Blue Jays. My first ever game though was at Wrigley Field to see the Chicago Cubs in the early 90s. Incredibly historic stadium, and the fans were amazing considering the Cubs were perennial losers at the time.
