And what really riles me, they clamp right down on the merest of handballs because you are not supposed to use your hands to gain an advantage right? Yet the amount of fouling and cheating allowed by referees through the use of hands on an opponent in a holding or pulling manner is unforgivable (imo!).

It wasn't some shirt pull lost in the melee of the penalty box at a set piece, it was a blatant pulling back of Ricardo in an open midfield right in front of the ref, giving them a breakaway opportunity. Not saying he was terrible all game but that was an absolute shocker of a decision from a professional referee. You have to know what foul play is, otherwise you are not doing your job, or you just aren't good enough at your job.
