Enzo was part of the problem. He isn’t why we got promoted, and he nearly was the reason we didn’t. our squad was head and shoulders above everyone else that season. the slow and flacid style he brought in, and players to suit it, is part of the reason we are such a mess.

I’ve been calling for a front three of wingers since preseason, I really don’t know why we haven’t experimented with something like this. Very narrow wingers with one of them as a false 9 could be interesting, essentially creating a front two than beat a man.

Didn’t even bother to watch it tonight. I have never felt like this in my 34 years supporting city. Missed 3 games on the bounce a while ago despite having a season ticket, not watching the streams for away games, not engaging much or reading on ft. I’m the most detached I’ve ever been. Marti does have to go, but the problem is much bigger than him.

Completely outplayed tonight and deserved nothing. get rid asap and while the window is open and we can get a few loans in that the new man wants. id be going for a warnock, big Sam type appointment at this point. Never missed more than 2 games a season since having a season ticket. Some seasons missed none. I’ve now not been for 3 games.

If we do get rid we need to get someone in who can make us play effective football, and the style that is ingrained in the dna of the club. we need to be solid at the back and break quickly. Appreciate that we need to be able to mix it up when teams play to nullify that, but this slow bullish is not effective and is prone to errors. Defensively we are terrible. We either need to defend the box and smash it long to the quick lads, or play a pressing game.

I can’t believe people are actually saying they would take/want Rodgers back. This is beyond mental. Under no circumstances should this ever be considered. It shouldn’t even be joked about.

Really hope he’s finished in terms of top level football. maybe him and Russell martin could have a a career change and start a YouTube podcast. Would be useful to have another useful tool to get the kids to sleep at night.

Might be worth dropping all the players out of contract in the summer. They clearly don’t want be here, so let’s give game time to those who do and see what happens.
