Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
Gamble92 replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
There were a couple of other teams interested by sounds of it and the amount we paid is literally nothing. You think of the likes we paid for Daka and Soumare etc, well you could make a pretty long list last few years. It's genuinely one that's already paid off even if he got injured for a year. People are creaming themselves about one bit of play from Soumare in 3 years for all he's cost. -
It's a nightmare for us when Mavididi and Fatawu play like they did for most that game alongside a 37 year old Vardy. It was hopeless at times.
-
Great news for us. If we can stay up he's a certainty to come back. Hopefully half the fee we sold him for. Stonks
-
Didn't go down too well when he said Old Trafford wasn't intimidating at all and lovely to play in 😂
-
I said it in the Cooper Out thread but his petulance is actually quite refreshing to hear in a weird way. He's not very media trained. Very off the cuff remarks you'd expect more from a fan than manager.

Skipp Soumare Winks Ndidi Ayew Vardy Sven style Diamond WHO`S WITH ME? -
Good to see he thinks competent officials score penalties for them as well
-
It wasn't similar shout last season, it was one of the most blatant penalties I've ever seen not given.
-
I think there's a much better balance in the defence with him in there. Another that won't set the world alight and quite an old fashioned kind of full back. Something we know Enzo never played with so it was never on his ability that he was loaned out. I definitely wouldn't go rushing out to replace him. Could see him doing even better with better players around him in future. Other areas are much more of a priority.

I thought they looked absolutely woeful defensively against our b team. So bad that I genuinely think they'll have their lowest Premier League finish. Down the left any Premier League team picks them apart. The problem is we probably aren't good enough to stop the goals the other end. We still don't seem to have a genuine plan in games. It's annoying because if we did then I'd fancy us to beat them. -
The moment of magic made up for a poor game from him. In an ideal world we wouldn't be using him for so long. He's gone from having 20 odd sub appearances in Championship to main man playing 90 minutes in Premier League again. I don't think it's helping the team at times and I don't want to see him retire by default because of injury. Need to manage him better as season goes on.
-
Think we will quite easily survive but it's just the lack of identity and plan that's worrying. You'd hope by now we'd have some kind of vision of where we are going and we don't. I'm actually far less worried about survival this season than I am for the following seasons. People will say it's about just staying up and then go from there, but we won't sack Cooper in the summer if we stay up. The plan should be to have a vision for what we need next season and put ourselves back in with a chance of being back where we were. It's doable, but under this regime it just feels like we are going to stay up and be fighting relegation again and again until we go back down.
-
Is it bad that I do kind of like how unprofessional and fan-like his post match interviews are? Some of the stuff he comes out with is like sticking a mic in front of some of you lot 9 points deep at the local hero.
-
Best thing he's done for us. On the ball he clearly has really good vision and passing ability. It's off the ball that clearly isn't just an issue but a really bad character trait. When he wants to he has the ability but I can't really see past how lazy he's been for us. If he can sort the off the ball stuff out then he can absolutely do a job for us this season. Not a chance he's starting until he does though.

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!

His control and technique reminds me a lot of Nacho but I dare say he's a lot more consistent with it and easily more street wise. You don't really see many players in his position who are as good defensively. He's a very good footballer. Not fashionable or exciting but just a good player. Really good signing and people won't want to admit that. -

You mean the average Leicester fan and Foxestalk user are completely wrong about a new player? Well I never. -

The most annoying thing is Ipswich looks so ****ing poor yet the goal felt inevitable? -

Dows anyone feel like managers still play Vardy as if he's that pressing forward he used to be that stopped so many attacks forming, but now he simply isn't that and along with Mavididi and Fatawu we are so passive? -
Yeah that's the reason mate. Can just picture Cooper blaming Enzo in a press conference.
-
Wait so the Cooper haters have to ditch the Vestegaard and Ricardo conspiracy all in one day? Meltdown incoming
-
The worst I've ever seen for that was when Villa appointed Tim Sherwood when we played them in the cup. Because they come back in the game they kept panning to his grinning face in the crowd like he'd masterminded it all. ****ing beeb
