  1. Maybe not the big ones then. Leicester Vs Wolves would be alright 😂
  2. For Live TV you could bill it as a bunch of local rivalries on Tele over Christmas. Doesn't have to be all of them in one go either. Suppose the issue you would have is one fixture is still going to end up being miles away. Probably be us going to Liverpool 😂
  3. You joke about it but in July with the articles about 2 deductions incoming it looked like we could become officially the worst team in Premier League history.
  4. Riveting. Totally worth that £1 a month
  5. He's absolutely miles ahead of where Kasper was it his age but the way Kasper developed later on was probably unlike any Goalkeeper I have ever seen and we all know what he achieved with that. I wouldn't be surprised to see Hermansen win more though.
  6. You're right it wasn't. But can you think of any other owners who'd be allowed to parade the trophy around the pitch in the way ours were without anything being said? I can't think of any.
  7. I completely agree with this, as I said in my post before I think it was all a bit of an illusion but on the surface our relationship with them was as good as it gets. If you asked anyone outside of Leicester they'd have loved to have the owners we had. But it's how much you detach success from those below from the money that's funded it. In reality they were dangerously chucking money at it before Pearson come back. There's still a very good chance Top leaves us in a worse place than he joined us if we don't stay up this season. He's very lucky that on numerous occasions we have got out of situations that he's caused. It's certainly not been great decision after great decision.
  8. Imagine anyone competent applying for a job at this club
  9. Why does the club have such an issue with disclosing the actual salary for these jobs?
  10. I've got Nigeria on an accumulator. What happens now?
  11. Thought that was going to take a worse turn than just smelling of pork pie on the way back.
  12. I was a massive fan of the Winks and Coady signings together because it felt like the club actually had a clear vision and plan for what we needed to get back. It impressed me after a couple of years of sleepwalking into the abyss. I think because both were signed at the same time and Winks was such an undoubted success that it's kind of helped Coady from avoiding more criticism than he's actually had. The way he conducts himself seems to be good and he seems to be a good voice in the dressing room but on the pitch it's hard to make a case for him. Especially given how much we reportedly paid him. I'm pleased Vestegaard got last season because he's been mismanaged by 2 managers now. I don't see a way back for him here. The injury shit doesn't add up to me.
  13. Just feel like at the point they were giving out free pints and donuts and we were doing so well on the pitch the fan/owner relationship was about as good as it gets in football. As soon as they started to make such bad decisions and got rightly criticised they seem to have given up on the fan relations side of things. Or at least any attempt to appear like they think about us in decisions. Almost like one giant **** you to us all with every decision they make in the last few years.
  14. Do we think something has changed or has it always been like this but the success just kind of covered it up? I mean, how does the only Premier League club to vote against charging £15 a game to watch matches during COVID then charge £10 to watch a friendly? It doesn't make sense for that to be the same people making those decisions. We're about 5th (behind mainly London clubs) for cost of matchday food. But hey Top will give you a free donut one in every 50 games so be grateful. I just feel like that they've never been what they're cracked up to be sadly. It's just that the veil has been well and truly lifted in the last few years.
  15. I've still got John Elsom's signature in my autograph book from that Walkers Stadium open day. Must be worth least £200-300 now
  16. I always thought the food at Burton Albion was best I've had at a ground. On these football good pages it's incredible how much worse the food gets the bigger the club is. Some quality stuff in non league.
  17. It's mad how many times I guess the same as Ric on the who are you. Even when they're wrong. Even Matt Reeves on this one 😂
  18. We also need to talk about the massive correlation between Maresca/Pep/Brendan football on the atmosphere Faes and Vestegaard passing to each other for the 457th time isn't going to get anyone in the Alliance and Leicester Stand off their seat whipping their replica shirts off and starting a poznan is it?
  19. Was absolutely dead until they scored
  20. I'm responding to the other posts that are quite indicative of Foxestalk in general that everyone else is amazing and we are shit at everything. There's loads of posts about how great other teams support is and I don't witness it anywhere? What was the last great home support we all seen as an away fan?
  21. Because it makes him look better?
  22. The ones that constantly get voted the best in the league - Anfield, St James Park, Shitty Ground? All terrible last time we visited were they not?
  23. And how do you know that? Whenever I hear any pundits talk about our ground they praise the atmosphere or at least never say anything like the shit you see in here. Is it perfect? Absolutely not. In comparison to modern standards and definitely modern stadiums it's absolutely fine. I'm glad we have Union FS trying to do all they can and I hope it gets a lot better but we need to be a bit realistic too. Even these so called amazing English grounds for atmosphere aren't anything like noisy for 90 minutes. The more renowned ones sing at the start and are dead for most the game. On the away fans too, talking up the likes of Derby and Forest away support? Wasn't so long ago they were bringing 1,000 fans to our ground and standing there for 90 minutes. Completely bollocks that they have more passion than our fans.
  24. Certainly the most self deprecating football forum I have ever seen. Even if it's completely deluded about their self worth on other forums, at least there's some pride.
  25. I think it's more important to whip up a frenzy in comment sections with a headline that misleadingly looks like Man City have won rather than actually being informative. Pretty much online journalism in a nutshell these days.
