  1. But they did say it under Brendan? Maddison said we weren't hungry enough in a game we absolutely needed to win at end of the season ffs. You won't find a bigger fan of Pearson but we had absolutely disgusting spells under him where players swore at our fans and didn't look arsed. We really need to stop this rose tinted view and stop slamming Cooper for everything.
  2. You always become a much better player when you aren't playing. We've had many players down the years who were going to come into the team and be the saviour. Then they play and we can see exactly why they weren't in the team.
  3. I'd agree usually but you have to see the point I'm making. I think those being most vocal about Cooper didn't need much of an excuse to start criticising him and in fairness so far he hasn't exactly proved anyone wrong. He isn't going to risk losing a match by playing 3rd or 4th choice players at this stage. If we stay up I'm sure he would do so next season. You say don't give a shit but you come on this place if we lose and see how many people don't give a shit. It further builds a narrative he isn't right for the job.
  4. Cooper just isn't a position where he has the luxury of playing him. If we play a few academy lads against Walsall and lose, the pressure is seriously on. We just aren't in the position to do it.
  5. I was saying this not long back. Any of them away vlogs at our ground that I watch, not one say we are terrible. Few say good and most just say it's decent.
  6. One thing that really annoyed me yesterday was actively trying to play for set pieces. Granted we scored from one but it felt like that was becoming our main idea. Get near the box and draw a foul. Against Everton at home I don't expect us to be so lacking in ideas. I expect this game will be like that x100.
  7. You sound like one of the ones holding everyone up tbh
  8. Agreed on how bad we have been at letting players go and it's set us back years. But I'd argue Hamza last season was worth more to us than that £6m. If he eventually goes on a free I don't think we'll look back on this era and moan about the money we lost on him over the rest of the catastrophic errors by the club. I'm actually glad as a local lad that he got last season. That WBA performance will live with us all for a long time.
  9. Buzzing to be going to this tomorrow. Then I read this thread and I'm wondering if sitting fully clothed in the shower and crying for 2 hours is a better option.
  10. I can't believe I'm reading suggestions for fingerprint and facial recognition when most of our fanbase can't hold a card under a scanner
  11. Yeah I can't see any harm in it. A lot of fans don't need an excuse to feel hard done by at the best of times, let alone after the attempted points deduction. I think some of the stuff our fans are saying about cooper is actually embarrassing.
  12. It's a bad enough look when they have to go after teams and disrupt the table as it is. But to know they're actively trying to do this is quite sad. Derby fans kind of got laughed at for claiming they were never going to stop until they got relegated from the league as punishment and it looks on this evidence that they were right. The amount of dodgy deals that will be going on to get Man City off with the lightest punishment as well. Some of their charges should be a matter of criminality anyway, they're out right fraud.
  13. Didn't we ironically sing boring boring Leicester under O'Neill because that's what people called us? 😂 Cooper's track record is a world cup at youth level and has a promotion to the Premier League. Some of you are way too dismissive of him. Not saying he's going to be anywhere near as good as O'Neill but he could be. But as we seen under Rodgers, what the fans think has absolutely no baring on what the club do anyway. So it doesn't matter that much.
  14. I'm on about their home attendance against us. Only time they've sold out without Leeds bringing about 8k
  15. It always amazes me how if I tell anyone who supports a Barnsley or Burnley (or that kind of EFL fodder) that I support Leicester they always bringing up 2002/03 administration or even the Pearson promotion season where we were close to breaking rules. It feels like there's this sense that we are always "cheating" and they're all obsessed with it. Rather than looking at the bigger picture of what these rules actually represent. I also think that the initial period of being pleased for us winning the Premier League soon turned into absolute jealousy from fans of clubs our size. We are definitely more hated than we were. I haven't seen it said much but I think the Forest and especially Coventry rivalries have become much bigger as a result of that. Not a chance Coventry sells out against us before all the success we have had.
  16. Sorry quoted the wrong one 😂
  17. Think it's happening with a lot of tweets because of AI. Just inflating the figure to get round more people. It obviously hasn't had that amount of views.
  18. “You can’t have clubs going up and down, and getting away with breaches scot-free on the grounds they’ve changed divisions,” an EFL source told the Guardian. “It’s ridiculous. Promotion and relegation is a fairly well established concept.” MAKE SURE IT'S MENTIONED IN YOUR ****ING RULES THEN
  19. Is it bad that I actually was just glad one of them cared enough to reply to a journalist? I couldn't imagine many of them would do anything more than laugh at it whilst downing a WKD in a shit nightclub on the night of a match.
  20. The old saying of talent means nothing without hard work. Honestly Tielemans putting in that effort in the last 18 months wouldn't have even been good enough for the Championship. Combined with Ndidi looking like he wasn't even a professional footballer, I don't even know what went on there. All of their attitudes were a disgrace. I'm still livid about it now. You can still see the arrogance in Faes. As much as I defend him to some on here, he is the last kind of character you need in a scrap. Suppose you could pin that on a lot of players. Good when it's all going well but you need a different type of player when shit hits the fan. As much as the Premier League win was a perfect storm of everything going right, we needed absolutely everything from the top down to be a disaster to go down that season and it happened. Including the most self absorbed manager in the history of the game distancing himself from any blame. Not that I'm still angry about it or anything
  21. This has a very familiar sound to it. Coventry, Huddersfield, Cardiff, Rotherham etc as we scraped our way through that initial lucky period. Only difference is he won't have all those games to be a flat track bully in this season.
  22. If he does anything successful with Chelsea I'll be amazed. Like I said before I don't see implementing this style with Manchester City or the squad we had as vindication for it. I will admit it was perfect for the middle part of the season where every team stuck 11 behind the ball (as mind numbingly boring as it was to watch) but anyone who had a decent plan beat us in the end.
  23. Why's it impressive? If I was telling my Mum how to put a shelf up every single day for a few hours and told her she was getting 100k a week I'm sure the old battleaxe would pick it up.
  24. I don't think there is one either but I just meant it's become easier to control an outcome now.
