The least transparent bunch of people in history admit an admin balls up when they don't have to. I love my football club.

You're right with this, it's a nice day out for kids but we can see how much the club has valued the next generation in their actions. They'll be many promotions this season in an attempt to get fans through the gates. But it's not when you're at your lowest you can judge this kind of thing. It's when you're flying high. Memberships just to buy tickets, no general sale when games hadn't sold out. I could go on and on. We have been able to see the club for what it really is for a very long time.

A lot of modern centre backs who can play with the ball get a hell of a lot of revisionism when it comes to their defending. Nelson has been very inconsistent for us. Arguably more bad games than good. In fairness to him, it was hardly a good time to come into the team but I don't think many fans would be upset if we got a decent fee for him.

How do we rate the competition (league 1)

Does it still smell of Carling everywhere? -
We ITV next season

Not everyone who's good against others the same age are as good in a real competitive game environment. You're never going to get 23 under 20 players international level all make the England team. Loads of different factors play into it but just doesn't work like that. Not to mention if you're really elite by that age you bypass those squads and go into the first team anyway.

He was actually a lot more balanced than I thought he'd be before I clicked it. But still quite uneducated on a lot of it as is anyone I hear on Talksport. It's so lazy, naive and insulting to say short memories. It almost reminds me of the completely deluded viewpoint that Ranieri was only sacked because of his accomplishment. When in actual fact he'd have been gone a lot quicker in that second season if he'd not won the league. Similar here in that without the success we had, there's not a chance the manipulation of the fanbase would have been there enough to enable this decline. It's not that we forgot what happened, we can't ignore the biggest neglect in football history.

It made it past quality control onto the shelves with the wrong name on the badge?
-
You'd like to think it was bots employed by the club but even they wouldn't go to the effort of creating characters with Britain First profile frames.
-
Best case scenario for the next 10 years is getting promoted with mainly younger players, selling them off, getting a new competent owner and being a Stoke/Blackburn type club with a bit of deluded optimism we can become a Premier League team again one day.
-
What gets me is there's people on here who deny fans refer to us as little old Leicester. I hear it all the ****ing time.

Genuinely the equivalent of getting credit cards to fund nights out

You know what, up to a point you can maybe excuse taking out loans against future transfers and premier league money when we were going well and relegation was just a huge surprise. It's still irresponsible but it's one of them where you can maybe forgive it if lessons are learned. To spend as much as we did when we went up, and do it all with loans from a bank when we at that point knew how likely relegation was? I struggle to think of how you could run a club worse than that. It shows there's been no real competency for a long, long time.
-
Ours aren't any better just because we haven't had that outcome yet. In a lot of ways we are run even worse. Lot of their fans were commenting on the figures published for us saying even their situation didn't look that bad.
-
I struggle to think how you could have worse owners than King Power
-
Yeah to be honest, as right as everyone is in here about how disgraceful King Power are as owners, Kieran Maguire is scaremongering again in my opinion. Or at least angling things all towards one narrative to get attention. A bit like how tabloids do their stories. Sales this season have gone a long way to clearing a lot of that. I don't think it's beyond the realms of possibility that anything left over would be wiped by Top to allow a sale. Least we will get to see how much he genuinely cares. Facebook will probably tell us it's because he's had enough of toxic fans.
-
When has it ever been bigger? They've not had bigger average attendances than us for decades
-
I do worry about centre back. It's likely Faes, Souttar,Nelson and Okoli all leave and they've been the choices so far.

It's quite sad that they use chat gpt and can't just give us a few genuine lines. I don't expect Shakespeare from a man who films himself dancing in hotel rooms in clothes that don't fit him, but I like to think we meant something to him for a couple of years. -
Up for sale officially. All it makes you do is question why it didn't happen years ago. His heart hasn't been in it for a long time and we've just been left to rot.
