  1. The success didn't happen because of good strategy at ownership level
  2. I remember Ian Stringer really grilling him in an interview on the time about this. There was an unknown consortium I believe alongside the Thais. Mandaric didn't give a **** who he was selling to lets face it.
  3. Just wondering this because the narrative seems to be pretty much that all the bad decisions were made after Vichai's passing. Many of us weren't happy with a lot of decisions before that but it's hard to be vocal about it when others were making us so successful. Who would be happy with King Power being the sole focus and only representation anywhere in our stadium if we hadn't had that success? Who'd be happy with them parading the trophy around themselves (with a bizarre picture of the King of Thailand to accompany them)? I remember having numerous conversations like this way before shit hit the fan. When Rodgers initially came in I thought I felt glad to be proved wrong. Then came all the murmurs of the loans being taken out. But again, I was happy to be told by the 'experts' on here that it's normal practice. But in the end we've ended up here. The coverage around us has finally dropped the amazing owners bullshit. Long gone are the happy clappers faces as they dish out stale donuts. So when did you first realise we have bad owners?
  4. Any sort of apology would be half hearted, likely mixed in with a mention of Vichai for a guilt trip for even daring to say anything and done by AI on programme notes. I think the closest we got to Top's thoughts was his statement after we last went down. The petulance and chip on his shoulder was there for all to see. How dare you question me, my dad died has been used all the way up until the club ends up in oblivion and still the King Power happy clappers will agree.
  5. It shows how on the absolute floor out expectations are when we were heaping praise on him earlier in the season. He's an absolute disgrace with his basics. Him and Faes ****ing off will be one of the best things to happen to the club in years. Genuine embarrassment.
  6. I think people get a bit too carried away with how O'Neill would describe him. Can all joke he wasn't as technically gifted as the others, but you don't play as long as he did in the Premier League without being a Premier League footballer. He was instrumental in the success under O'Neill. Shame he ruined it by playing for Derby, and he can **** off for kissing the Birmingham badge too. Then the joker has the cheek to act hard done by when we booed him. I do laugh how he used to slam us at every opportunity in his punditry career until we won the league, then he very quickly became Ex-Leicester City midfielder Robbie Savage again.
  7. This has become a bit of a myth on here. We absolutely have had "limbs". Hate that expression but you watch some of them vlogs from home fans last season and we had some class celebrations. Even ones like Rotherham early on. Also the home fans as bad as it has been, it's nothing like the worst in the country. Don't be fooled by the little renaissance Forest have had if you're using them as an example. Go there 99% of the time from 1999-2022 and it was as bad as any atmosphere anywhere. Ours was lauded from the great escape onwards too. Perspective is needed at times.
  8. The fact we had enquiries from European teams to loan our first team players during a relegation battle is quite telling. All got wind of how bad our wage bill is and our players agents probably touting themselves to jump ship.
  9. You can absolutely blame Rudkin for the length. Even when Maresca said he wanted it renewed, any club with anything like a vision would weigh up what Vestegaard will be like in 2-3 years. They'd look at whether it's a worthwhile investment compared to going out and buying a better player. It's just ****ing amateur all round. If he's really on 70k as well. Get again they probably felt so embarrassed they'd let Enzo down with so many empty promises, they go and do silly deals like this to appease him. Then he ****s off anyway.
  10. It's not you who sits in front of me in the West Stand then
  11. Its a weird one this, because I get the impression Enzo wouldn't be saying this if he knew there wasn't such hostility from our fanbase against Top and Rudkin. Similar to how the club clearly get any new manager to publicly praise the owner and set up of the club. Was so obvious Cooper was told to do so, it was almost like Rudkin had a gun behind his back. This has similar vibes. Wonder if he's still in contact with Top.
  12. All done through mouthpiece Guillem Ballague
  13. A load of the players at the club are fond of Rudkin and Top for what they've given them. What does that tell you? It means absolutely **** all about their capabilities to run a club and everything about how they've pandered to these bunch of jokers.
  14. Id rather Leeds went up. They'd be guaranteed to be up there again and we could do without the scenario we had last time. Okay we just about achieved it but we rewrite history with how we talk of that season now. Laughably for King Power and Rudkin, we should still have more than enough to be right at the top of the league again. And Rudkin will get away with it again.
  15. Enzo was no Lamborghini. Flat track bullies that should have got way more points and eventually got easily found out. Limped over the line.
  16. Very true. Think there was a general arrogance and naivety in thinking we could step up the money in wages and fee, and the players would naturally get better. Without any concern about the fundamentals that we looked for under Pearson, Walsh and Shakespeare.
  17. So statically he'd only have had to have been about the 10th worst Premier League manager ever to have kept us on same points as Wolves. Puts it into context of just how bad this is.
  18. Not a fan of Cooper in the slightest and the love he gets from Forest fans completely ignores how shit he was for them in Premier League, but they've been historically a second division club for so long that they treat him like a god. However - you look at the way Enzo had attached so much importance on players like Winks and Fatawu combined with the fact the likes of Winks think they're so much better than they are. What chance did Cooper honestly stand? He was abysmal and all stats point towards that but I struggle to think of a manager we could have got that would have turned the ship around.
  19. He's looked alright last couple of times he's played but there's no way he should be near our team. Having said that there's 7/8 others in the starting line up you can say that about. I think next year as a squad player in Championship I'd be fine with him all day long. Knowing the clowns in charge though, he'll get a 6 year deal.
  20. Both are the exact kind of player I used to look at other Premier League teams having and laugh. We used to have so many great attitudes and such a likeable team that got the most out of what they had. Teams like Spurs were always full of these types. Difference is Spurs have always had a few good players. We have absolutely none, bar maybe Hermansen. It's as bad as I can ever remember it and I'm actually sick of talking about it now. It's beyond ****ed. I can't believe I just read someone defend King Power too.
  21. Think Brendan never wanted him either to be fair
  22. I think if it was about riding the gravy train, he'd be in Saudi now. I think there's a lot of difference between the petulant man child Top running us into the ground and our best ever player still giving his all. The success happened because King Power funded it, but don't try and claim they were geniuses who got that success by masterminding it. They were lucky to have Pearson, Shakespeare and Walsh.
  23. The only ones who still say anything favourable about our owner are the ones who always seem gleeful when we lose. Funny that.
