When you watch Daka and Okoli like this it's hard to see why they aren't in the side whatsoever.

I know we joke about not getting any coverage in these games but even when our manager was interviewed he had one question about Leicester and nothing else has been about us. Least pretend theres another team playing ITV
-
Think sometimes as well it's about faking it until you make it. If Hermansen doesn't go off at Newcastle and we go down fighting there, he's got off to a superb start all round. Fact he played Ward and we didn't nothing but get pounded after meant everyone lost faith in him. It's fine margins.

He went to Cardiff after being turned down by us and a lot of what Martin Allen said was bullshit. -

There's so much factually wrong about this. Have you ever thought of appearing on Under The Cosh? -
We lack the spine of the team genuinely caring. We had identity with years of Kasper, Morgan, Vardy etc. Its all gone. This one might belong in the unpopular opinions thread but I don't think Vardy helps at times either. He certainly doesn't have the leadership of a captain, and I feel like he has just as much a chip on his shoulder as anyone when we have a right to complain about the team.

You know it's funny how he was called the worst Premier League striker ever by national media at the time. He got like 10 goals in his first season. There's probably been 100 worse than him since.

I just really really hate Forest and you made me think of that horrible night
-
I think he can actually be a really good listen. Certainly when Rodgers was spouting his PR bullshit as he enabled our demise, Jordan was the only pundit who really called out his behaviour. He is definitely box office listening when he's on form. He lets himself down when he shows his obvious bias (usually an owner Vs manager situation) or when he tries to talk with the same conviction about topics he doesn't know as much about (boxing). He's probably the best person to listen to when you do agree with him and the worst to listen to when you don't.

I envy you if a couple of thousand people singing a song is the worst emotion you've had to do with supporting Leicester over the past few years.
-
Behave. It's not even relevant. He was shit and we got rid. If we have that to think about and they have our Premier League and FA Cup while they've been shit for 25 years, I'll take that.
-
Or that it was as much down to him that we put ourselves in that position. Barely anyone he signed improved our team.

Love how he's doing interviews saying he's never known togetherness like it and how that can pull us through - then tries to jump to our main relegation rivals. Loudmouth Scouser with nothing left to give us. There's so many unlikeable characters, it's actually unbelievable.
-
Agree with your assessment about about where it nosedived but the cup win was great. It's hard to find any tactical masterclass from our win, but we shouldn't take anything away from it. There's been a lot easier draws.

At best the only attention it will get will be off all the banter pages saying Leicester only took 1000 fans to Man United away. With no context and loads of laugh reacts.
-
What curry you having?
-
I don't think you'll get pelters. I think every fan thinks this. Or at least would be far more okay with it if they recognised any of the history.
-
We're bigger than Blackburn and Stoke. Both of which got about half our attendances when they went down. The rugby club really has no impact on us whatsoever. When we first go down there will be exactly the same uptake in season tickets and the huge waiting list. It's if we stay down that the flask drinkers realise clinging onto their season tickets doesn't mean they'll get to see Man United the next season that we will get rid of that type of fan. I don't see it as a bad thing. People might actually stay to watch 90 minutes.

I wonder if the perceived passive nature of some of the fanbase has been factored into not even trying to better the squad. Oh **** it they won't react. They're not Leeds fans, it's Leicester. Give them a free donut and write some AI generated programme notes. Don't forget to remove the word unwavering this time.

One of the best summaries of how I'm feeling about it all. Our success has enabled them to treat us like this and still have enough goodwill from happy clappers. Some of us called it out years ago and were shot down. Even those of us who were calling it out were prepared to let them rectify it. Even once shit hit the fan and they still didn't, they STILL had a chance to sort it out because we come straight back up. And STILL they haven't. I just fear there's even worse than we realise behind the scenes and I don't even want to know what. I'm just really ****ing stressed by this and I hate that I let it get to me like I do.
-
It's hideous reading these threads seeing people begging for a couple of tickets when you know what they got served up isn't it? I did it for Newcastle. I think we need some kind of therapy.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

It's a bit different from Rooney in terms of his stock was higher. He was linked with West Ham before us, and although I don't think they'd have took the risk - he was easily on for a fairly big European club after his stint at Man United. RVN could quite easily get a similar job to the ones Rooney got. But that would be a huge step back to go from getting a Premier League job to just being a big name at a championship club. I bet he's wondering what the **** Enzo was playing at recommending us. -

Id agree with this if it wasn't quite as bad as it is. The capitulations away from home and the terrible results at home continuing will mean he won't get that next interview. -
I think we had every chance of making the KP more valued or at least as valued as a home 2014-2023 It doesn't quite fit into that kind of old timer fan type narrative that everything that's in their day was better. The type who still put mostly players who never won anything in their best of Leicester XIs. But we have much better memories where we are. Not nearly men, actual winners. But off the pitch everything has reverted to 2004-2007 sort of days. Just hope it doesn't on it.
