People don't really mention it but us having the success of recent times has intensified each rivalry massively imo. Especially in Coventry's case. But all 3 (as much as 2 wouldn't like to admit it) sell out against us straight away and the Forest and Coventry games are more of a rivalry than what some clubs round the country would call their "fierce rivals". We will have "none" for our fierce rivals on FM though which annoys me.

Big fan of Owynn, Piper and the coverage in general on Radio Leicester despite the fact they make nowhere near enough content to compete with what's so readily accessible now. A lot of it I liked. The stuff I didn't like was typical of the beeb. Feeling the need to add balance by saying they never spoke to us when we were doing well either. That doesn't say to me that they've always been private, it says to me they've never given a **** and it's only now the good work of others has gone that they've been exposed. Some of the local journalists just spout the same shit too. Probably worried about holding onto the few sources they still have at the club. Make absolutely no mistake this club could not be more rotten. It's worse than this documentary went into. It will get way worse than this and you'll still have the same journalists reminding you we won the Premier League so you should just be grateful.

The commentary always sounded so off to me that I was sure I was added after. I am not quite old enough to remember the match but I'm told it was live commentary. Was so strange how he just says that could be the winner from claridge before he even hits it.

Think players like Winks did too. I still think we wouldn't be much better off with Cooper but when all the players have it in their heads they should be mid table and are mouthing off, he never stood a chance really. Be interesting to interview Winks and see if he still thinks they should be better than 14th.

Thing is as well, even if got offered it this time would he want it? He did his bit when we went down. He got us back. Does he really want to do it all again when he's seen the way they've backed the club this season?

We'd do a lot worse than give him another year on 50k. This is a club that went out and got Edouard on 80k and Skipp for 25m. It'd probably one of the least risky bits of business we do in the summer. If he wanted any more than that though, it would have to be goodbye.

I always use the Mel.Morris Derby comparison. He threw everything at it money wise and ended up crippling them. Bad decision after bad decision until Pearson came in and eventually got us up. Even then we had the absolute amateur episode of sacking Pearson and unsacking him. In how many parallel universes does that decision then end with us somehow surviving? Let's face it at so so many points in the King Power tenure we end up exactly like a Derby or Reading. Not to mention we'd absolutely loathe how they've used their brand absolutely everywhere with no respect for our history. Even had the ****ing King of Thailand get more attention than Gordon Banks death. Everything was always heading this way under them. They've had the biggest get out of jail card ever by getting instaht promotion after the most embarrassing relegation in history and STILL they manage to **** it up again. They don't deserve to get out of this one and it looks like finally this time they won't. It'll just be us who suffer though. Absolutely hate what we have become.

I still think nothing will match going down to League One. It was kind of unprecedented for any team our size to bounce back as quick as we did. As bad as this is, I feel like it's not insurmountable. Which makes it worse because the likes of Rudkin still get to keep their jobs. We will likely clear a lot out, put together a good enough squad to come back up and be back at square one. I don't think anyone who thinks double relegation, or us struggling, is a possibility actually watches the Championship.

We have never been well run because of Vichai or Top. Not at one point did our successes happen because of anything other than the money put behind that initial Championship run which almost ended awful as well. We need to drop this narrative it went to shit after Vichai died. Nothing they did before had a plan. We were lucky with the staff Pearson had and every fraudulent chancer that's still at our club because of it has slowly destroyed Leicester City.
