  1. I think this is a fair assessment. If any of our chances go in then the way people view the performance changes drastically. You can't blame everyone though, everyone is just fed up of how devoid the club is of just about everything.
  2. The real crime was only playing Akgun as much as Maresca did, and making the board think he wasn't worth the £7m clause.
  3. I got a certificate and an email asking why I joined. I replied "because I want to remove you and take over myself" Not heard anything back since
  4. I honestly don't even see fans who've only bothered to support us because of success as any better than the Man United/Liverpool fans who'd give me shit in school for supporting Leicester. They'll never feel what we do for the club. Same as the new Thai fans. Not that they exist in anything like the numbers the club wants you to believe, or even they believe given the hilarious amount of merchandise we create for that market. I don't even know what someone like Susan Whelan thinks a fan is.
  5. The way he seems strangely upbeat after every game makes me think he's been told he has the job next season no matter what the division, and he sees winning the Championship next season as a Maresca type reputation jump.
  6. As others have said, it's about changing the narrative about how well run our club is. Even in the summer when discussing Leicester on Talksport and Sky I would hear about how well run the club is. Staggering that was still the case after a relegation. I think there lies the source of the problem. The success of the past has allowed a free pass for them to suck everything out the club. And do so with a bunch of happy clappers still thinking we are out of order for pointing it out.
  7. I'm honestly at the point of believing that the Facebook accounts and users on here that are still passively questioning why this is needed are actually planted by the club. If you're not and you can't see how your attitude allowed our last relegation then I respectfully suggest you go and take up fishing and just fish all day on a Saturday.
  8. Just a shame that every time I've been St.Andrews for the last 15 years it's been half empty, devoid of any atmosphere and epitomised everything we say about modern English football then.
  9. Faes and Okoli starting, Justin pushing up as the left back stays in. Whisper is quietly but we've gone back to doing everything Cooper was doing 👀
  10. What's worse is, they could have put some genuine effort into it and released it as a proper statement. Better still, one that directly addresses what is happening. By putting the same tired words in programmes notes, that he clearly never even writes himself, is just about the worst thing they could do for me. They honestly think we are the most passive fanbase and will just accept it too.
  11. Does anyone have the notes before any of the last few games before we got relegated last time for comparison? It was bad before AI, but now all his PA needs to do is put "how do I talk down to a bunch of Leicester fans who hate me?" Into ChatGPT. There's still that stench of arrogance, petulance and a massive chip on his shoulder in everything they put in these notes. He hasn't learned a thing.
  12. It's quite funny listening to Talksport do the usual. Have a discussion based on an hour or so "pre production" where the producers have put together some bullet points from our fans (probably off here) and then hopelessly discuss it. Yet again it's the entitlement stuff. There was at least a bit of acknowledgement that the club is now run terribly, but it's still a general consensus that we have had our time in the spotlight and it's time for us to move along. We aren't going to win any fans outside the club for the protest, but I'm glad these clowns are finally being shown for what they are and there's no longer this lovely narrative surrounding Top in national media.
  13. Obviously not true, but you get the feeling that it's Vardy's biggest game.
  14. Exactly this. Every time I come on here I despair at the comments. But then I also realise why the club have been able to get away with what they have for years.
  15. The things is if we spent 3 years in the Championship, the club would be doing absolutely everything to make sure they get fans in. While it's a few thousand waiting list for a season ticket and full houses every week, you see the utter contempt they have for us as individuals.
  16. Absolutely spot on. So sad that part of the deal for getting backing from owners is that it's made all about them and their interests. There's no actual connection to our history. No 2 minute montages before the match change that.
  17. Even back in 2019 we were fully aware that the club are only interested in King Power. Just weren't as vocal about it.
  18. We were well run but we were only occupying that space behind the top 6 because clubs like Villa, Newcastle and West Ham were in the shit. We were beneficiaries of huge sales that were unprecedented and not exactly planned. No one at the club said sign Maguire because we'll get 80m for him. The fact we were in that space was down to a lot of good fortune too. We absolutely blown it when real decisions needed to be made.
  19. Always found it bizarre that we signed players we were after before the title win. If we hadn't got champions league, you wouldn't have been surprised to see us sign any of them players. We could have really pushed on. It's sad
  20. I think the winks of the first half of last season would have been great least night. Since that Watford game last season he's been poor. Last night he was beyond bad. It wasn't a difficult game for him. He had so much time. Even Ndidi, who's strength isn't passing and playing out, made so many more meaningful passes and got us up the pitch. You'd usually say at least he's good for the championship, but he's another one who believes he's way above that and only wanted the one season down there.
  21. What the actual **** is going on in here
  22. He hasn't lived up to expectations but we always seem to need to have a player to ridicule. No neutral would watch his performance tonight and say things like embarrassing. It's like some actively go looking to batter him sometimes. Strange mentality.
  23. Bar that horrendous 18 months or so that he had (where he genuinely put in some of the worst displays I've seen from a player at Premier league level) he's been brilliant for us. It's crazy that we had players like him in the Championship. It's no surprise we were able to play him as a 10 at that level. He's top 6 class on his day. Easily.
  24. I get tired of the over the top bullshit that gets said about him. He's feeding off absolute scraps all night. He stretched play more than Vardy has most the season too.
