Going back to Cooper - I hope the club learn from the hideous selection of friendlies for next season. I still think the confidence in him was gone from the players from the manner in which we lost to a Serie B and Ligue 1 side. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying that was the reason for all that followed but it sure as hell didn't help. Get Burton, Notts County, Northampton etc on there. They don't deserve to go anywhere else.

Sadly a lot of it is about appeasing spoilt brats. This is a profession that gets a ludicrous wage and still needs bonuses to keep the tossers motivated.

As much as they'll be loads of pessimism, just like last time, there really isn't any excuse for not challenging for the title again. Sadly they know this too and that's why they've adopted the mentality of going down with PSR compliance is better than going for it and staying up.
