Think he meant it more as a rhetorical question rather than a cash builder on the Chase.

We'd absolutely have avoided relegation with even Iversen in goal instead of Ward. A year without Premier League revenue was catastrophic. You're right that we'd still have been in need of sorting out the unbelievably stupid wage structure, but I don't think we'd have sold KDH and the signings would have all been much better. So many would have turned us down because of the looming deductions.

Wait. What?

Schmeichel been outstanding in the Champions League tonight. Looking back we can probably say even just that one decision set us back a couple of decades. We keep Kasper and we stay up and none of this would have followed.

He didn't want to do every single game and podcast like he did in other years. He was going to leave all together but decided to let others step in now and then. Don't think he's gone completely. Which is good because he's miles better than any other pundit we have on local radio.

You make some good points. But they aren't leaving tomorrow, and there is no every chance Top leaves us worse off than when they joined, which was unthinkable. Id say if we plunged to League One - Which I think is now odds on, given the almost certain relegation and -12/embargo next season then we'd be worse off in every sense. It isn't even about comparing to when they arrived anyway. It's about undoing everything about the legacy before Vichai died. It's absolutely heartbreaking to watch all this happen. It was so avoidable.

New version, soon arriving in a Bangkok airport near you.

I'm not even joking, I had "are you on drugs" written about those shirts, only to see they're genuinely real. I apologise to the original poster. What the actual **** are the people at this club?

That isn't what fluked means. achieve (something) by luck rather than skill - we achieved it with skill. Ranieri absolutely deserved the sack.

Just when I don't think I can find anything else to depress me any more. -
Didn't think anywhere could get more depressing than here, but even my groupchat's took a turn for the worse on the subject tonight

Any other season, probably already down.

Apart from last season? This is going to be sadly the norm now. No teams will compete first season and it will just be the hope of scraping 17th and being able to build on it. That's the only aim now for clubs like ourselves. -
I wasn't against having an open top bus for the Championship win because for Enzo and the players involved it was still their achievement that deserved to be celebrated. Regardless of the fact as a club it was certainly nothing to be celebratory about. The fact Top did what he did and invited those influencers and gave them and separate bus, and celebrated it himself like it was some great achievement on his part, was a disgrace at the time. It's actually even worse in hindsight given that we now know relegation has resigned us to fighting court battles in the second division for probably the next decade. This was never anything more than a vanity project for Thailand. We just never cared we were a billboard for it all because of the Premier League win. The FA Cup winning shirts have THAILAND splashed across them ffs. No way we'd ever have been okay with this shit from anyone else. It's a joke what we have become under him.

Imagine if we sacrifice all this and they announce in a few years they're getting rid of PSR.
-
The horrendous decisions from the ownership have always been there. They've got incredibly lucky. Not many clubs have got promotion to the Premier League by making 2 bad managerial appointments out of 3. The non sacking of Pearson 99 times out of 100 confirms relegation. At so many different points in the timeline this all goes just as badly as it is doing now and we would absolutely hate these owners. The success of others has allowed them to become what they are.
-
I think as much as there is obviously truth in it about the Premier League gunning for us and we all know how bullshit PSR is, the way the club used that to distance themselves from any blame is laughable. You can't say we are second bottom because the Premier League want us there. Even with just a result against Wolves we'd be out the relegation zone. Even with all the sales we've made, this situation was still entirely avoidable. Still feels like some of you are buying into everything being someone else's fault.
-
I think the circumstances around him losing his job reporting on the club is more to do with it. He still goes to some games now but I think what happened is still very raw for him and I don't think he'd want to be all over socials giving his opinion negatively about the club. He's also very much in the camp of we should just be eternally grateful for the Premier League and FA Cup, and should attribute all that to King Power. A lot of people are. It's a massive reason why we've allowed ourselves to get to this point. It's a few years too late but at least most people are waking up now.

The delusions of grandeur and shifting of mentality since title win accusations are so wrong. I don't know one Leicester fan that wouldn't be absolutely okay with being 15th, having decent recruitment or even just being a yo yo club with a ****ing plan and identity. The way this narrative has been accepted about us in media annoys the **** out of me. One thing I won't accept is watching my team slide down the pyramid because of incompetent pricks sleepwalking us into it. Then being told we should just put up with it because we dared to challenge at the top for a bit.
-
Just be nice if you stuck up for your own club as much as you do Forest after 1 year of them having a decent finish for once. There's such a strange self deprecating nature about fans such as yourself about Leicester. You also seem extremely argumentative.
-
Technically everything we talk about on here is in the past if you want to be pedantic. Few years ago Vs 40 odd years ago and doing absolutely **** all but creaming over Brian Clough is a bit different.
-
Id rather have had our last 15 years than theirs. Finishing top 7 this season for them won't change a thing.

Sunderland lost 20 times in a row?
