  1. Judging by the way Top reacted to the criticism he got for the relegation, I wouldn't be surprised to see him be just as petulant about a protest. Least it will be the end of the media narrative that we have great owners. That is still absolutely a thing. Most fans of other clubs I talk to still think that too. We must be forever grateful because of what happened 9 years ago. It's a bit laughable by this point.
  2. He reacts like this all the time and takes absolutely no accountability. But worst still, is that even his fault if he still gets picked every week? Ruud at least dropped him to begin with, but why would he take any blame now? He will just play again next week.
  3. Never trust a man with two first names, let alone three.
  4. I was actually thinking this earlier. Even in them Peter Taylor games we at least made chances. This team just folds. Like don't get me wrong, Peter Taylor will always be our worst ever manager and destroyed us, but at least that team had some players who seemed to care.
  5. What you gonna watch?
  6. After 2 for this 👍
  7. I think people forget just how mad our results were in both seasons. I remember being beat easily at home by West Ham 0-3 and thinking we'll be bottom half easily and we went on to be top 4 most the season. For every 5-2 away win at Man City, there was an equally strange defeat at home. We are undoubtedly still feeling the effects of missing out in those 2 seasons though. We'll always have that FA Cup day but it does make you realise the importance of finishing in the elite competition. We effectively maxed out our credit card thinking a big pay day was around the corner and it never came. And we have been paying it off ever since.
  8. We were a disaster before COVID. Bar that Villa game, it was obvious we were in decline. If anything it gave them chance to sort it. Those first 7 games we lost of the relegation season were what relegated us, and that was because we hadn't signed anyone and instead of getting on with it - we had a manager far more concerned with preserving his reputation within the media.
  9. Just when I thought you couldn't go any lower after your post loving Forest, you go and post something like this
  10. Quite standard after any break for the muscle you're not using to be a lot different in size. Remember my foot looking like when Deadpool starts to regrow
  11. That theory would be fine, and I think he'd still be in a job if any of the data pointed towards that being the case. Unfortunately it was quite obvious our goalkeeper was having to perform as one of the best in world football just to keep the score down to 4 in some games. But for pundits who are just given a league table at the time of Coopers sacking and after, the narrative has already been written if we get relegated. Poor little Cooper.
  12. Not now he doesn't, and hasn't for a long time. We can't just live off what we did years ago. Be awful to end up just living off the past like Forest ended up doing for decades. We aren't just stagnating, we are heading for a really bad situation if we aren't careful. It's not about being ungrateful or entitled, it's about not letting the success of years ago go to waste. Or be at the cost of everything that comes next.
  13. The way Spurs and West Ham played against us this season has been absolutely suicidal on their part. We actually look a good side when the opposing midfield gives absolutely no support to the defence. It was unbelievably easy to play between the lines against both teams.
  14. Yeah you don't want to put shit like Thai(m) to go. Will make media quickly turn the fans into the villains. From the outside we're already entitled idiots for dong this. Don't give them more ammo.
  15. "we've got the same defence that went down last time" is hardly some hard hitting, witty effort is it?
  16. So strange that there's people who think we don't want good results while we ensure change. Today doesn't solve anything. We could ease to safety and they'd still be so many issues. We should not have ended up in this position and we need to change so much about how we operate. I can't believe that needs saying to some of you.
  17. I just had Mick McCarthy replying "it can" to it can't go on like this can it? swirling round in my head in my nightmares.
  18. He really isn't that good. Multiple managers have seen enough of him and he never suited the way we want to play in terms of the press. The old adage about every player becoming better when they're not in the team is definitely true here. Having said that, we could look very silly if we are frantically looking round for a player of similar quality for the championship quality in the summer, and end up having to spend £20m.
  19. We literally have nothing to be positive about at the minute. This doesn't change a thing for us as fans. A few years ago you'd see a lot more positivity about news like this. Even the most passive of happy clappers can see the way we are heading. Don't try and tell peasants they should just lap up any news the club gives them. We are tired of the way the club is being run and this won't change that.
  20. Percy just got demoted to Sean From Enderby levels of trustworthiness
  21. This was my reaction when ITV first moved Heartbeat
  22. Don't mean to burst your bubble but I was fortunate enough to win a competition on the back of some Frosties to train with the team today. I was up front in an 11 a side and managed to score 3 in a 6-2 win for the reserves. Me and an unnamed trialist amongst the scorers.
  23. You mean Gerrinda 10 pints of wine deep at 11pm on a Friday night doesn't speak for all Leicester fans?
  24. "The Club remains grateful for the family’s unwavering support and for the long-term security they continue to provide" Just a shame that because you continue to do absolutely **** all about Jon Rudkin and Susan Whelan I couldn't feel any less secure about the clubs future. In fact if you asked me now all I can see is relegation followed by relegation to League one and you ****ing off.
