Bobby De Cordova-Reid joins permanently - Official
Paninistickers replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
He is EXACTLY what I expected. A nothing player. No pace no strength, lightweight, .no height t, the odd nice touch but generally bundled off the ball with ease. A nothing player. Every 11 spots is so vital to a team in relegation trouble and we just gift one of those positions away. -
I said before the game, Ward on the bench is a horrible red flag. Literally no manager in football would let a semi pro level keeper near the squad. Soumare, red flag. Freezing out Ricky. Red Flag. Playing the woeful BDCR. Red flag. Dropping Mavididi, red flag. It's extremely worrying. Upsetting almost.

1-2 Fulham, A Post Match Thread
Paninistickers replied to urban.spaceman's topic in Leicester City Forum
Totally predictable. An absolute waste of space. -
Still watching him smart arse and I ain't learnt anything I didn't already know Mavididi Ricky both miles better and possibly McAteer too
-
Then why okay BdcR for physicality, Mavididi is markedly stronger
-
I'm concerned, I'll be honest. Ward on the bench ahead of Iversen. Soumare. BdcR. Mavididi, Ricardo frozen out. Vardy isn't up to the job that's needed of a modern striker. It doesn't sit right.
-
We'll have to politely disagree on that. BdcR offered nothing other than routine basicness
-
Mystifying for me. Mavididi simply has to play

Fulham v Leicester - Pre-match thread (August 24th)
Paninistickers replied to 420Hashish's topic in Leicester City Forum
I think you might be surprised at Fulham being a 'middling' team. They are aggressive, quick, hard working amd their movement is intense. We will have done very very well indeed to come away with a point -

I wouldn't be entirely surprised if he might start winks, Skipp and Wilf (higher up) to try and stabilise us into the game -
And/or the dark side of mass immigration strikes again Remains to be seen

Just had a gander at comments on x twitter. Armchair punters there all wading into Muslims. If it was, things are gonna get very interesting/nasty in western Europe - Sweden, Holland, Germany, Austria, France, Italy and Spain - very soon.

Fulham v Leicester - Pre-match thread (August 24th)
Paninistickers replied to 420Hashish's topic in Leicester City Forum
Nah, nice and steady.....you only have to be out of the relegation spaces in the last day. We're aiming for about 46/47points this season, a steady 6 from 6 will give us a platform for that total -
It comes to something that I prefer the Ayew deal to this. At least Ayew has some kinda track record as a non scoring attacker and contributes in a pre assist,.disrupter type way This Fofana is just plain shite. A poor man's Daka.

Jordan Ayew (interest confirmed by Percy)

Tis what it is. Just gotta hope he does a job in a way, say, a washed up Willian did for Fulham.. But, it's just sound destroying as it would be for Palace to buy Marc Albrighton off us for 8m and paying him 50k a week for the next three years. -
I can see HR now 'he said good morning to me in a threatening manner, I felt threatened by it and it was an abuse of position' He ain't no nonce or bad guy or closet bully. No chance. Less than zero.

Yeah, agree. Though that's something that's easy to fix. I've heard / read several people that are cricket fans struggling to follow what was going on with those garish slidometer things. This hundred franchise auction is potentially showing up the cracks in the system though. The two London franchises get big crowds and have the brand appeal to foreign investors. Birmingham and Manchester at a push. The disinterest in Glamorgan, Southampton,. Nottingham and Leeds (from both fans and investors) is noticeable. -
Note to self..read all pages before posting

So glad this got mentioned. Essentially a carbon copy of THE Gordon Banks save v Pele. He actually pulled off a great save in the play off final too just after half time from that (very good) winger of palace whose.name.escapes me But the Stoke save was the best I've ever seen..

As much as I'd like to celebrate this, the Olympics whacked it out the park. However, I can't quite work out who watches it, regardless of the viewing figures. It's not cricket fans (well,.maybe 20% of cricket fans follow it,.at best) And it's not supporters of the clubs, as they haven't got any. It won't be kids either, as kids simply don't watch TV with a box of maltesers.and a glass.of milk anymore. -
Anyone ever used DHGate for football shirts?

For 13 quid Inc postage, you can't go wrong. If you are that fussed about the wash cycle, buy 2 or 3! -

Revenge can be a long time coming in football. Years ago, Trevor Francis as Palace manager inexplicably took Ade Akinbiyi off our hands for more or less only a 1 million loss. To give the younger forum members some context, without hyperbole, that is the equivalent of Palace taking Ward off.our hands now and paying us a couple of.million for the pleasure The Akinbiyi transfer almost beggared belief at the time. -

Cottee I accept. The other two,.nope. I'd liken the signing to Danny Cadamarteri. Dion Dublin maybe. David Connolly. It's an absolute shocker whichever way you spin it. -

Would prefer it the other way around. Mavididi is miles ahead of BdcR...ok, that's just my armchair punter opinion, but he looked it too. The difference was palpable -

Not being wise after the event, but it was absolutely baffling at the time. A relegated club on its financial knees with three highly paid strikers (all with PL goals) on the books....and we sign an unknown kid from Everton and as a double whammy, rescue Everton's own financial woes at.our expense.
