Am I the only one open minded on this? Could be we as underdogs are gonna need Hamza's fitness and use Ricky as a 'finisher' ? Foothold in games etc and build from there? Ditto rotating Stephy and Abdul? So we get hard hard running all game? Daka he simply has no choice. So unworried by that. Biggest concerns for me are the centre half and VK. Both looked woeful in Germany.

The signing was totally bizarre. Classic KP/Rudkin The lad is a boy. He may well be pretty good eventually. But not what we need to a relegation scrap.

How odd.... extraordinary tbh

I'll read your link posted prior. I'm unaware of Labour's pension plans so will have a gander

True, tho I just (before this week's bump) stuck a lump in a 5% ISA as a safe haven away from a mind numbingly dull with profits fund where I was beavering money away for kids uni ...i'll take 5% for the next 12 months

You sound like a man with 'skin in the game'

The good old reliables are a FTSE 250 tracker and a UK small companies fund, both bought at the bottom of the market in COVID, when I started all this. I've got about 10% of my money in two aggressive funds, global.marketsnand tech. They've both had the whack this week. But Dems da rules with those funds.

Nope, didn't know there was a whole new forum. Which, obvs, I now know. My comment you replied to I popped in the aircraft porn (great thread for mini avgeeks like me) ....hence the technical question about possible rudder failure
-
Yup, but hopefully it'll swing back up again at some point. This year's high (around 9% at one point) at least theoretically proves it's doable
-
Sure sure sure I get that. I was just pontificating that it'd be interesting to see the results of jab (the only jab I've ever heard of that DOESN'T prevent the infection it protects against) versus placebo.
-
In a way, it's a pity a trial wasn't done to measure COVID jabs versus placebo. Whichever side of the fence you sit, it would be interesting to see the results.
-
Could've been a worse week for me. Roughly 5% down on my highest peak this year but overall about 3% up from where I was at start of the year.

Not noticed any socials of the team flying out. Are they down on the ol' charabanc this morning?
-
He's way way past his best....he's been a thorn in our side for years but last time we played him two seasons ago, he was a shadow. He's way off it. But given the choice between him and this clown Fofana, I'll take it
-
In the absence if the news thread, as someone on here appears frightened of debate, plane down in Brazil. Video seems to show an odd crash. Flat direct vertical spin. Rudder failure?
-
Or of course, could be evidence that the jabs don't make a blind bit of difference. Just saying like...😉
-
Let's hope not. He's garbage
-
De Ketelaare (or whatever) was the player who was lined up
-
I sincerely hope not!

It's good isn't it? Enjoying it -
I hope he wasnt seeking tickets. As an able bodied male under the age of 84, he's got no chance. Manager or no manager.

Paris Olympic Games 2024

We had a cheat code with the cycling in the last four Olympics. Bit like the Aussies used to have with swimming. Unfortunately this time we will lose to the Aussies. But have every chance of beating the French and definitely will beat the Germans. They are in our mini league. -

Totally agree. The Lottery is an uncelebrated success story for national pride and excellence. John Major's thing, iirc
